Just what I needed

My kohler toilet has been leaking after 10 years of use. I purchased a 2PK and replaced it in 5 minutes. Works as expected. Couldnt be happier. Highly recommend!

According to online information, Kohler developed this yellow seal to be a far more durable one than the original red seal. Only time will tell how well it holds up. It was a snap to install -- under five minutes. (Note: If you cannot remove the central unit as per the printed instructions, which was a problem I encountered, cut off the old red ring and unhook the chain connector. Then the new seal can be gently stretched over the outer cylinder and quickly snapped into position under the tabs in the lower edge of the cylinder. Return the chain hook to its original position.)

Every now an again, the gasket on the plunge pump goes. They sit in water 24/7 so they dont last forever. This is the second time in the 10 years owning this toilet that I had to change the gasket due to wearing. They last a long time but weaken over time. Again, this is the second time in 10 years having to change it...so they lasted about 5 years before changing it!!!

I am not particularly handy at home repairs, but this was super easy to install (with help of YouTube video) and saved me hassle and expense of hiring a plumber. Works perfectly!
