Kohler Genuine Part Gp1059291 Canister Seal - Pack 2

Piece fit perfectly, no more slow running Toilet.

We bought two identical Kohler toilets for our home more that a year apart. We had problems with the flush seal on the first one from the start because it had a gummy rubber seat that stuck to the drain and made it hard to flush and as it disintegrated it leaked frequently. Kohler was in denial with no help and they didnt have instructions or videos available as to how to dissemble and replace the seal. The second toilet had a better seal but it was also red and rubbery and leaked occasionally. This new YELLOW seal, which is made of something like silicone rubber, fixes all of the problems and they now have some online videos on how to dissemble the the flushing mechanism making replacement relatively easy.

Bought the kholer gasket, my kholer toilet was flushing on its own. I looked it up on utube. Watched the video and in 10 minutes my toilet was fixed. This is a great product, I ordered 3 more

The seal works great, but the package only contains one. I reported it to amazon and they replaced the item and the second package only contained 1 seal.

It was a little hard to remove the cannister but once that was out it installed easily and it has leaked since.
