Arrived today, and I loaded it up with my college books. It has ample space. The bag itself is very nice leather, and it has the feel of durability to it. When you use this bag, you will feel prestigious. It has that classy, you know this is gonna last you look to it. Definitely the quality of a multi hundred dollar bag. Whoever made this, has good craftmanship.

I just recieved this bag so i cant attest to durability yet but i am very impressed with the quality of craftsmanship and materials upon opening the package. In addition, the bag was carefully packaged and came with a personal letter from the company explaining care and where to connect if there are any issues. I feel confident that this bag will last and will update if my opinion changes with use.

I am by no means a leather expert, and I rarely buy leather goods. But you can tell that this is sturdy, quality leather, and the craftsmanship that went behind it is noticeable. I do not feel that any piece of it will rip or fall off. All the seams seem very sturdy, and the buckles are great quality as well. The bag I got is pretty big, but not too big. It easily fits my laptop, some big binders, my water bottle, and any snacks I want to bring to work.

A month into classes and the bag is still as beautiful as the first day. its nice to carry around, it feels great and has much more room than you might think!!!! if i could give this bag 10 stars, i very much would!! there are only a few minor complaints, like a tiny bit of fraying around the back zipper area but really a little bit of care cleaned it up. these bags are hand made and as someone who sews, i know what its like to do zippers lol another thing, is that i get worried that the top handle might tear because of overweight... though that might just be me and my heavy books. i use the shoulder strap so its fine anyway. TLDR; GET! THIS! BAG! ive seen many others but this one is the best (at least for me!)

Love love love the bag! Saw many and tried many but this one is the BEST! Light weight and well made. I needed something for school but needed pockets for other stuff a woman needs. Fits everything of mine! Please keep up the good work! Thanks

The briefcase arrived extremely well packed inside of two bags along with the shipping box. Also, all of the metal fixtures were padded and taped. The briefcase has room enough for a large laptop and a folder or three of paper work. The zipper is plastic, but well made and closes easily. There was a smell to the bag, but after a few weeks it mostly went away. If you keep it in a closed space like a trunk it will be noticeable. Some leather conditioner will clear that right up. The strap came in two parts and is buckled together. This is the only disappointment I have with the item. A single piece of leather would hold together better. Still, being two pieces doesnt seem to have affected the the straps performance in the short term. For the price I dont think there is a better bag on Amazon right now. Just remember, this is an $80 briefcase not a $500 one and you will be quite pleased.

This is the real deal. A quality product at a reasonable price. There is lots of organization within the satchel. I especially like the rear zippered compartment which allows you to place documents without having to open the satchel. The locking system for the front straps is a great addition to this product. Having to undo the straps, like a belt, each time you wanted to get into the main compartments of the interior would get old pretty fast. So really nice job on this. I have been very pleased with the communications I have had with Komal. There was a slight defect in the strap which was initially sent to me. Normally I would not have worried, except I am a teacher and I put a lot of stuff into my satchel. The last thing I needed was for the strap to break. I shared my concerns with Komal, and also suggested shortening the length of the strap. Im 64 and the satchel hung lower than I would have liked, even on the shortest setting. He said that the next time he went into production, he would make it a couple of inches shorter. And thats exactly what he did. A few days ago I received the strap via priority mail. There were no defects and the length of the strap was shorter. Thank you Komal! I need to write more about this amazing product, but I need to upload pictures first. Once I have done that, I will tell you more about this great product. Stay tuned!

I’ve been torn since getting the bag between being critical of the workmanship (glued-together thin leathers, frayed/broken stitches, thin pinch points in the leather I’m afraid will eventually work themselves into holes, etc), and being happy with how it’s construction works well with what I need. For example, the main compartment has two zipper heads that can be locked together with a thin travel lock, something I need to do for my job. There is also ample room inside with 3 compartments, a place to store pens/pencils on the inside front, a sleeve in the inside-back that’s perfect for a 15-16” laptop, and another exterior sleeve on the outside that can hold a notebook. The actual bag when I received it was very orange; when I tried moisturizing it the cream (Saphir product) didn’t seem to penetrate at all, and some kind of coating on the leather beaded up into small sticky balls leaving me to believe there’s something sprayed atop this to (I’m guessing?) repel water before it leaves the factory. If you are looking for high-quality full grain leather, this is not it but is glued-together thin pieces of leather. The threads are in many places fraying already (I purchased it only 5 days ago) and I expect that to get worse with time, but honestly? I still kind of like the bag because it’s setup is what I’ve been looking for. Hopefully this lasts longer than the cheap canvas case I had before, I’ll update how it goes in a year or so!

I do service work and carry small tools, small parts and paper work. The bag is handsome with strong hardware and plenty of pockets. I did change the shoulder strap for a heavier one--the buckle in the middle of the one supplied made it insecure with the 12 pounds i carry. I am very pleased with this bag.
