Kraus KAG-1BG Dishwasher Air Gap, Brushed Gold

The the installation was slightly different from the one it replaced. Including a simple diagram would have helped. I eventually got it.

Somewhat cheap quality

I liked the style of this air gap, however it did not match the brushed gold faucet or drains we have purchased. It looks closer to stainless steel than brass or gold …

Looks great. Love the sleek contemporary look. While it’s only been a few months, so far it’s handling well against the semi-hard water. To be clear, I was concerned that it might turn green or simply wear easily because of the water, but I haven’t noticed that yet.

Delivered quickly and exactly as described. Easy install and matched faucet perfectly.

Needed to add an air-gap for my dishwasher. Went with an upgrade, as this is a one-time purchase. This was easy enough to install. The cover can be removed for cleaning, and compared to others, this one will hold up much better.

This product is double the price of what you may find at big box hardware stores. But it is solid steel construction. The black stainless went very well with my sink.

Not the same brushed brass color as the Kraus faucet. I intentionally bought this so that it matches and it’s darker

Rubber washer is too soft which keep gap between this air gap and countertop
