I purchased this stand for IPAD pro 12. I have to remove IPAD from the case to be inserted into holder. Stand clams on both side are not very comfortable to operate for the large tablet. However once inserted the tablet stays firmly and can be setup under any angle without any issues.

Would be better if you were able to adjust height but it works as mentioned
