> 3 dayI had to file some of the solder contacts off to make the LED fit an old (1970 model) Singer machine yet an 80 year old, it fit just fine. The white light makes it easier to see while sewing. Good value. The long term question is how long will these last in a closed enclosure found on many sewing machines that don’t offer good cooling for a LED type bulb?

> 3 dayThis is a bright bulb, just what I needed for my sewing machine. And it uses less power than my old bulb.

> 3 dayFor some years Ive been thinking I really should put an LED bulb in my sewing machine because the old incandescent is hotter than blazes and not very bright. I finally got around to looking up the bulb and found these. Perfect fit for my Kenmore model 1980, a 20 second job to replace the old bulb. As expected, these are far brighter than incandescent. Color temp is much cooler of course, but I actually prefer that for detail work. No idea how long this will last as I only use my machine a few hours a month, but its a major upgrade at first glance simply due to the reduced heat output and brighter light.

Greater than one weekProduct is as described. Easy to install & a good replacement for a halogen bulb.

Greater than one weekI have been unhappy for years with the relatively dim light that my sewing machine provided and with the way it made the front of the upper shell very hot to the touch. I am VERY happy with this LED version; it provides significantly more light, and I have been sewing for hours recently without the machine ever getting even warm. Great product!
