Man, are these suckers bright! My wife loves them in her sewing machines versus the old incandescent bulbs. If you are a quilter or sew a lot, you need this bulb.

Not as bright as original, non LED bulb, I think because no light source on end of bulb. Works well, great substitute.

Fit in the sewing machine nicely. Now my machine doesn’t get hot when used for more than 15 minutes.

For some years Ive been thinking I really should put an LED bulb in my sewing machine because the old incandescent is hotter than blazes and not very bright. I finally got around to looking up the bulb and found these. Perfect fit for my Kenmore model 1980, a 20 second job to replace the old bulb. As expected, these are far brighter than incandescent. Color temp is much cooler of course, but I actually prefer that for detail work. No idea how long this will last as I only use my machine a few hours a month, but its a major upgrade at first glance simply due to the reduced heat output and brighter light.

Bright light and best of all, it doesnt get hot and burn my fingers if I have to touch the sewing machine. This fits my Bernina 830 Record vintage sewing machine very well.
