LAMY LT52GR Bottle Ink, Green

Good blue ink and dries almost instantly. Useful for lefties like myself. Also has a cool spool of like tissue paper under it to clean off your pen.

I REALLY like Lamy inks. They dont smudge, but they go on smoothe.

Pros...great quality ink and great color to boot. The ink is dark and smooth when writing with it. It of course works in any fountain pen, not just lamy pens. Nice tight sealing bottle top with a very accurate colored top to match. I also love the extra detail of the blotting paper on the bottom of the bottle. Comes in very handy when wiping up a bit of ink on the nib of the pen. Only wish it was a bit wider paper to cover more of the pen. Cons...bottle is quite tall and when full the ink gets up on the handle of the fountain pen, not just on the nib. So will need to have the blotting paper or other absorbent material to wipe up the excess ink off the grip of the pen. This makes for a bit more messy refills. I prefer a less high bottle or one with a built in reservoir so that only the nib is submerged into the ink. An example is the Sailor Jentle Ink bottle, this has a plastic reservoir which fills just enough ink to cover the nib, so it doesnt come up onto the pens grip handle. Or perhaps it is my filling technique? Im probably not going to win any Operation games with my unsteady hands.

A pretty standard blue ink, exactly what I wanted. Not too bright and not too dark. A fairly dry ink but flows well enough in my pens and dries pretty quick on most papers. I love the bottle! A nice shallow bottle with a little indent in the bottom for easy filling. And the blotter paper around the edge is genius!!!

So far this ink has been serving me well, it dries quickly and has been consistent from my Lamy Safari.

Excellent ink! The roll of blotter paper on the bottle makes it easy to do clean refills. The ink also writes very smoothly and the well in bottom of the bottle allows all the ink to be used.

Lamy is my go to Pen. I use a Fountain Pen for all my writing, noting & sketching. Lamy has been mt favorite for 25+ years!

I like this ink very much, the color appeals to me and writing with my fine-point Lamy pen is very smooth. However you need to remember that its a WASHABLE ink. Thats why it doesnt clog the pen. The down side is that any water getting on the page will smear what youve written. And like any fountain-pen ink, it works well only on a coated paper so the ink doesnt sink in. That means you should choose paper intended for ink-jet printers.

Great value for the money, really nice color. You just need a basic blue in your collection and this one fits the bill. Will definitely buy this one again when it runs out which it wont for a while. 50ml will last for quite a while.
