LAMY LT52GR Bottle Ink, Green

> 3 dayA pretty standard blue ink, exactly what I wanted. Not too bright and not too dark. A fairly dry ink but flows well enough in my pens and dries pretty quick on most papers. I love the bottle! A nice shallow bottle with a little indent in the bottom for easy filling. And the blotter paper around the edge is genius!!!

Greater than one weekI usually get Noodlers Ink, but since I had a Lamy Al-Star, I would gave the official ink a try. The ink is a bright blue and writes very smoothly. It drys fairly quickly but it will run slightly if it gets wet. The bottle has a small well at the center which allows for easily drawing out the last of the ink. And the attached blotting paper is perforated so its easy to remove the right amount. One side easily absorbs ink, the other side allows you to hold the paper without getting ink on your fingers. Im happy with the purchase, if Lamy had more colors that could match the selection of Noodlers I would think about purchasing them.

> 3 dayThe ink and the bottle were fine, but the blotter paper roll is supposed to have a tab sticking out, and the bottle I received did not have that tab sticking out... I also have a bottle of turquoise (not thru Amazon...) and that had the tab sticking out.. after a lot of juggling the bottle from Amazon, I managed to access the blotting paper...

> 3 dayGood blue ink and dries almost instantly. Useful for lefties like myself. Also has a cool spool of like tissue paper under it to clean off your pen.

Greater than one weekI would think that all inks are pretty much equal but it is not true actually. Some are too watery, some have a nicer color after drying, some are not drying well, etc... I have a very nice Montblanc fountain pen which I forgot about with the time. It can be quite a hassle to use because fountain pens often leak, get your fingers inked up. Anyway, I exhumed it from his drawer recently because I decided to restart writing by hand as much as possible. On a side note, this needs practice and my handwriting was getting uglier by the days... So using a nice pen would be my encouragement to write by hand but I could not find my ink anymore. A quick search on Amazon and I chose the Lamy bottled ink after reading raving reviews. Anyway, I have now been using this pen and ink since a few weeks and I cannot say enough how pleased I am with it. My Montblanc fountain pen would tend to leak and it did at the beginning with this ink. Not anymore though. As well, the pen would tend to scratch the paper and the writing was far from fluid. Not anymore... In clear, this ink gives a very nice color, makes the writing very fluid and nice, dries well. I do not care much for the blotting paper because I do not refill every day and when I do, I use larger pieces of paper. In any case, five star worth!

> 3 dayI got a Lami Lx with a blue cartridge and have loved this ink since. Had to buy a bottle after the cartridge ran out! Testing out how this will mix with some Aurora black ink. So far, it looks/feels great. No problems yet.

> 3 dayI have loved fine-tipped fountain pens for as long as Ive been doing cursive writing (71 years). I have never liked ball points or any of the other modern types of writing instruments. Being able to get ink for my collection of fountain pens, especially in a variety of colors, is a joy. Joanne Moses
