We actually got this for our ferret. As he has grown, he had gotten a little too tall for the litter box that we did have, and kept accidentally going outside of the box because his bottom would go over the edge a little. We needed something with defined corners (since ferrets prefer to use corners) and a little bit higher walls, but that he could still get in and out of easily. This has worked perfect. The white tray is more for a rabbit, and really isnt useful for a ferret, so we just took it out, which gave the perfect amount of room to fill the bottom with paper litter. The higher sides give him great corners, and keeps everything in the box. The low front makes it easy for him to go in and out of the box, and has actually helped more than we expected at keeping the area around the box cleaner, since hes not having to jump to get out, which would usually send litter flying. The size gives him plenty of room to get his whole body in the box and be able to back up into the corner, but doesnt take up a ton of space in his play area. It is also very easy to clean. The low front makes scooping out dirty litter easier, and once a week, we dump it and wash it. The smooth surface makes cleaning off any messes that didnt land in the litter very easy. We clean it with vinegar and water, as we dont use chemicals on anything we clean for our ferret. Weve used this box for several weeks now, and it does not hold onto the smell like other boxes have, so when we clean it, its just like new, with no residual odor. I would imagine this box would work well for any small animals, but as a ferret owner, I very highly recommend this box for ferrets!

My mini-Rex rabbit has been using a corner litter box that has a coated metal rack that sits on top of the litter so that his feet stay clean. The coating has worn off of the rack from the acid in his urine, and it is not possible to replace the rack without buying a whole new box. I was looking to switch to a plastic rack to prevent the rusting problem. This litter box was larger than I had planned but in the end it worked out perfectly. The plastic insert has enough holes in it that the poop and urine drop through to the litter underneath and my rabbits paws stay clean. The plastic is also kinder to his paws than the metal rack I used previously. The plastic rack snaps into place so that my bun cannot tip it out. The overall dimensions are large and it fills my sink when washing it out but it is very easy to clean. I am able to attach the hayrack to hang over one end of the box. My rabbit has a cage for his litter and food dishes, as well as a small hiding area, but it is kept open all the time so he has access to it whenever he wants. He has free roam of our family room when he isnt chilling in his cage area. This large litter box works really well for our set up. My bun is only four pounds. A large rabbit may not like this size litter box.

This is a nice size letterbox for my English Angora rabbits. I got the large size. I would have preferred a corner box to fit in their cage more easily but those tend to run a little small. This one has short enough side walls the rabbits can climb in from any side and its big enough to accommodate their whole body. The grate is a little odd because the plastic is a bit wide but I didnt see that being an issue. The bunny waste fell through to the bottom without issue and the top stayed clean/clear. The depth of the pan is good as well. I use pellet litter that swells when wet and this leaves plenty of room for litter and pet waste. If you are needing a good size letterbox for a larger bunny and have a large cage, I recommend this box. If you have a smaller bunny or a small cage, you might want to try a smaller box.

I saw these online and I really hoped that I could find one. I was really happy that they were on Amazon! The plastic is hard and the top is easy to pull up to clean. I know animal urine is pretty harsh on plastic, but it washes out pretty well with Dawn or vinegar. Our bunnies took to it pretty well, and it’s a lot smoother on their toes than what I had been using before. Not all bunnies can be potty trained I have discovered, but it’s so good when they do use this to keep a clean area. Definitely recommend!

I just got my bunny less than a month ago, he litter trained himself with a cat litter box but he kept getting pee on him every time he was using it so i wanted to get something better. The design of this litter box allows the pee and poop to go down so its perfect. Im really happy with this product and i 100% recommend it if you have a bunny.

Made of thick durable plastic, this should hold up well for years. The grid comes off so it’s very easy y to dump/clean the littler box.

This is actually the second litter box like this that I own. I got one like this on Amazon almost one year ago and Ive been wanting a second one so I can just drop in the clean one while I thoroughly clean the dirty one. The litter box is the perfect dimensions to fit into her chosen pee/poop location: this corner of her hutch. (And fyi bunny owners, she is free-roam, her hutch is her castle because shes a spoiled princess). My rabbit exclusively uses this style litter box (by choice - her royal magesty doesnt like the feel of pine pellets on her feet like in regular cat boxes) My usual fill: one layer of paper towel at the bottom (keeps litter from caking to bottom), a thin layer of pine-pellet litter, then a plastic mesh food dehydrator sheet (from a broken food dehydrator), then the top grate. The top grates holes are large enough for poop to pass through. The food dehydrator sheet allows pee to flow through, but not poop. When I clean, I pick up the edges of the mat and this allows me to dump 90% of poop into a container, then I scoop out the soiled pine-pellet litter (which turns into saw dust). I have a vegetable garden and put the poop out there. Every now and then I scrub it in vinegar to dissolve the urine-build-up stains. The litter box size means you can also put a cat-litter pee-pad down at the bottom. I do that when we go on vacation to make life easier for the pet sitter. (This option is less economical and less environmentally friendly) (No pads or litter is included in this listing)

I have two rabbits, and I got this litter box so that I can save their poop to naturally fertilize my fruit trees. The litter box is made of high-quality plastic and seems durable, so I expect it to last a long time. It fitted well in the rabbit hutch, which is outdoors. The litter box is easy to clean with a water hose. It has a plastic grid with large holes, which seems comfortable for the rabbits to stay on and does not hurt their feet. However, both pee and poop go through this plastic grid, so I cannot save just the poop.

I have used many different types of litter boxes for my rabbits over the years. This one knocks it out of the park! Nibbler stays clean because the waste falls into the tray below and he isnt sitting directly on top of it like with other litter boxes. It is also sturdy, good quality, and easily comes apart to clean. One good rinse and it is all set to go! My rabbit also loves eating hay out of it and I feel it is much cleaner than having the hay right on the litter.
