> 3 dayThis rabbit litter box is well designed and is easy to clean. The overall quality is very good. My only issue is that the price seems a bit steep for a plastic litter box.

> 3 dayI had already trained our rabbit to use pee pads but it was kind of messy of a cleanup all the time now that we put the pee pads in the litter box this has been a life changer for me and a money saver

> 3 dayMade of thick durable plastic, this should hold up well for years. The grid comes off so it’s very easy y to dump/clean the littler box.

> 3 dayThe plastic grate on this litter box is too thick. My bunny won’t stay on it. The grate moves a little and my bunny don’t like the feeling. I think because of the gaps in the grate, my bunny doesn’t feel safe. (At least that’s what I think)

> 3 dayAll right, so I have to admit: my initial impression was one of indifference. It didnt seem like there was much to it! Surely this cant compare to the one I ordered on a certain craft site that cost me triple digits... The design is really simple and clean. The unit is shaped out of a hard, very smooth, plastic with a high-gloss finish. I ran my fingers all along to check for sneaky lil jagged/sharp edges and was pleased to find positively none. I washed the entire thing with hot, soapy water before I threw it down next to her existing litter box (that boujee one I mentioned earlier..), with pelletized pine pellets in the bottom of the hopper, beneath the grate. My bunny is a firm smedium, weighing 6lbs for reference. I thought this looked a bit too small for her, but she fits perfectly on one side with her snacky-snacks on the other side. I learned Ive got to give her small amounts of hay at a time to minimize waste, and too big of a litter box also creates more messes. Her poop sits on top of the grate while urine passes down into the pelletized bedding which makes it really easy to spot-clean between full cleanings, especially if you save for fertilizer. I was worried about her feet getting stuck in the holes, but the material is so smooth. Seeing her in action with her size relative to the holes, thats no longer a worry for me. Now, perhaps if you have dwarf breeds, that might be a consideration. This probably wont accommodate giant breeds but I havent tested it. So basically, I should have started with this. My bunny loves it and prefers it over the one I custom ordered for quadruple the price. Shame on me for my rush to judgment. Dont be like me; try this first before you jump to spend way too much on a product thats inferior in almost every way as compared to whats offered here. Thank you, truly!

Greater than one weekI have used many different types of litter boxes for my rabbits over the years. This one knocks it out of the park! Nibbler stays clean because the waste falls into the tray below and he isnt sitting directly on top of it like with other litter boxes. It is also sturdy, good quality, and easily comes apart to clean. One good rinse and it is all set to go! My rabbit also loves eating hay out of it and I feel it is much cleaner than having the hay right on the litter.

> 3 dayAll 3 of my bunnies love this litter box. Now the size of my bunnies is relatively small, one is 4.5lbs, 3.5lbs, and 2.25lbs. They have no problems whatsoever going potty because their poop is small and hard enough to drop right the the holes. The issue I have with all litter boxes is when the urine hardens and sticks to the pan. This pan actually seemed more resistant to this issue but eventually did but I don’t fault the product at all. As a matter of fact I highly recommend it

> 3 dayThis is actually the second litter box like this that I own. I got one like this on Amazon almost one year ago and Ive been wanting a second one so I can just drop in the clean one while I thoroughly clean the dirty one. The litter box is the perfect dimensions to fit into her chosen pee/poop location: this corner of her hutch. (And fyi bunny owners, she is free-roam, her hutch is her castle because shes a spoiled princess). My rabbit exclusively uses this style litter box (by choice - her royal magesty doesnt like the feel of pine pellets on her feet like in regular cat boxes) My usual fill: one layer of paper towel at the bottom (keeps litter from caking to bottom), a thin layer of pine-pellet litter, then a plastic mesh food dehydrator sheet (from a broken food dehydrator), then the top grate. The top grates holes are large enough for poop to pass through. The food dehydrator sheet allows pee to flow through, but not poop. When I clean, I pick up the edges of the mat and this allows me to dump 90% of poop into a container, then I scoop out the soiled pine-pellet litter (which turns into saw dust). I have a vegetable garden and put the poop out there. Every now and then I scrub it in vinegar to dissolve the urine-build-up stains. The litter box size means you can also put a cat-litter pee-pad down at the bottom. I do that when we go on vacation to make life easier for the pet sitter. (This option is less economical and less environmentally friendly) (No pads or litter is included in this listing)

> 3 dayWe needed a lower, large opening box for our tortoise. He likes to burrow and dig, and this allows us to keep a separate burrowing area while maintaining the cleanliness of the sod and water hole in his tortoise table. He likes having his soil/sand mix and we were easily able to clip his humidifier to this to keep his burrow at the right specs for his health. Perfect solution to a long-standing issue weve been having!
