I install flatbeds and dump bodies on pick up trucks and I’m constantly wiring and this is the perfect tool for finding a positive wire. Works just as good as the $160 snap-on version.

Wish it had a light or buzzer to go with the volt meter but its a good product

Upon opening the packaging I could see I was impressed with it’s visual quality. I took it out to the garage to see how it works on my own pickup. I grounded it to the body and touched it to the positive post on the battery. I quickly noticed that I had the LCD window turned away from me and when I went to readjust the tester stopped working and I couldn’t make it work again, so by now I’m pretty angry. Upon a visual examination I noticed the cord end screws off so I remove it to see if there might be a inline fuse but it was only a spring to hold tension between the cord and volt meter .mechanism. I cleaned it off and put it back together and it started working again with no more mishaps. The numbers aren’t clearly visible until you have the LCD window at the perfect position which might pose a problem when you’re in an awkward position and can’t move to see it perfectly. All in all those where the only two annoyances I seen with this tool, it’s kind of like a miniature version of the Power Probe which I also have. Can’t hardly wait to start using it!!

Modern and easy to use. I like the digital display. Don’t have to pull out my volt meter to do a simple test.

On the first day I used this other Macanics were asking where I got it. Its works great and has a very long cord. Led is bright and can be used in daylight. this is NOT cheep crap. Im very impressed with Quilty. and yes I would by this again but will be along time from now. And yes I lock up my tools.

Just got it today. High quality test tool. Will write more after I use it to chase down a problem with my car.

Easy to use

does the job if you are reading between 3-48v! simply connect to a negative battery terminal. very fine metal point reader leading to easy access to hard to reach places, only down fall is the digital display that displays the volts is a little hard to read at certain angles!
