I was so excited about this umbrella. There was no way to control the light at the end of the handle from accidentally being turned on. On my first outing, the end popped off, sending parts flying. The light wore out quickly. The shaft broke and did not fully collapse. I had to toss it. Dont waste the money.

This review is for the “ LEAGERA Compact Travel Umbrella with Case - Small Mini Umbrella for Purse, Lightweight Tiny Portable Design Perfect for Parasol Outdoor Sun&Rain Umbrellas, Black” I ordered. I like how lightweight and portable this umbrella is in addition to the case it comes in. It doesn’t come with any instructions but it does come with a QR code on a tag attached to the handle. The QR code comes up as “403 Forbidden” when I scanned it with my phone so I don’t know what it is supposed to bring up unfortunately. This umbrella works well at keeping water away even when placed directly under a hose (which I used to test the water resistance). Opening it is easy and the button locks in place when it is fully extended. The area covered by this umbrella is 35 inches and the arch of the umbrella is somewhat shallow so you will need to hold it close to your head to get the most protection from rain. Opening it is easy and the button will lock into place once you open it all the way. I like how easy the button is to press in when I close the umbrella but since it isn’t spring operated you will need to pull it closed but it isn’t difficult at all to accomplish. The handle is much smaller than I’d like it to be and you will need to hold it a certain way to work which may become uncomfortable after a while. The handle measures: 1 and 7/8ths of an inch long by 7/8ths of an inch wide by 5/8ths of an inch tall. Considering how small the handle is making it a little difficult to get a good grip on combined with the probability of becoming uncomfortable to hold after a while for some people, this may not be great for everyone.

I bought this umbrella to keep in my backpack for school in case it rained. It fits perfectly in the side pocket and is a great size for a small umbrella. It gets the job done. I was afraid it would not go back into the case once I opened it, but I had no issues!

First off I was surprised at the very small size and weight of this umbrella, this is perfect for you to have available most of the time. This umbrella is perfect for you to keep in your glove box or purse for all those summer time pop up showers, always be ready. The stem on it is 19 inches when opened fully and with a 39in diameter it will give you enough coverage to stay dry for the most part. Now I am not sure you could use this as your main umbrella, but a good choice to have around close by at all times. Easy to open and to close just push the silver button on the side at the top of the holding rod to release just like any other. The rod is a little stubborn to colapse, so I just hold the outside tip on the top an tap the handle and it closes easily. I have never had an umbrella you know being a male we just tough it out like idiots but I though this would really come in handy in a roadside break down or a downpour. This takes up no room at all and is of a decent quality and a good price range.

Great combination of small folded size and full size open. Exceeded my expectations for the price point.

This umbrella is one of the best orders I’ve ever made. The umbrella itself is very compact and fits inside the carrying case which makes it perfect for everyday use. No longer do I need to be carrying a big bulky umbrella that is spreading water everywhere I walk because this one has a little pouch where you can stuff it in with ease. It has a good size, perfect for one person, it’s also very lightweight so you won’t get tired carrying it. It feels pretty durable so I’m guessing with good care this umbrella will last me for years to come. This is a definite must buy! 11/10!! PROS: Lightweight, perfect size, come with a carrying pouch, pretty durable, CONS: nothing, go buy this now!

This umbrella is horrible. It barely opens, barely shuts. You can’t get it back to shut the way it’s supposed to, and quite frankly I would’ve been better off, going to a dollar store than buying this umbrella it’s not even worth the gas money to take it and return it

Got this for my niece for Christmas and I liked that it was compact enough to store in her backpack, and had a lighted handle for her walks from campus to the train station.

The umbrella helped keep me dry in a moderate rainy day. Small fits in bag or a large pocket. Will try umbrella on a windy rain day.
