Its a little difficult to open up but works fine. I used it first time this morning in the rain and wind. It was sturdy. Love that it is very compact. It fits in my work lunch box nicely. Would fit in a jacket pocket as well.

This umbrella is great to carry with you in a bag or if you are in a situation where it might rain but probably wont. I have a big full size umbrella that I use when I know there will be a lot of rain, but this one is perfect when its questionable or if I dont want to carry the big one with me. I recommend this umbrella to anyone who wants to keep an umbrella with them for emergencies.

This review is for the “ LEAGERA Compact Travel Umbrella with Case - Small Mini Umbrella for Purse, Lightweight Tiny Portable Design Perfect for Parasol Outdoor Sun&Rain Umbrellas, Black” I ordered. I like how lightweight and portable this umbrella is in addition to the case it comes in. It doesn’t come with any instructions but it does come with a QR code on a tag attached to the handle. The QR code comes up as “403 Forbidden” when I scanned it with my phone so I don’t know what it is supposed to bring up unfortunately. This umbrella works well at keeping water away even when placed directly under a hose (which I used to test the water resistance). Opening it is easy and the button locks in place when it is fully extended. The area covered by this umbrella is 35 inches and the arch of the umbrella is somewhat shallow so you will need to hold it close to your head to get the most protection from rain. Opening it is easy and the button will lock into place once you open it all the way. I like how easy the button is to press in when I close the umbrella but since it isn’t spring operated you will need to pull it closed but it isn’t difficult at all to accomplish. The handle is much smaller than I’d like it to be and you will need to hold it a certain way to work which may become uncomfortable after a while. The handle measures: 1 and 7/8ths of an inch long by 7/8ths of an inch wide by 5/8ths of an inch tall. Considering how small the handle is making it a little difficult to get a good grip on combined with the probability of becoming uncomfortable to hold after a while for some people, this may not be great for everyone.

The only con is the purse like case. Very feminine. The brand doest think in male clients. There is no way to remove the strap.

The umbrella is small enough to live in my purse and was happily surprised how light it was compared to others umbrellas. Love the black!

This umbrella was surprisingly smaller than I was expecting, its a perfect size to keep in your car or to travel with for emergencies/unexpected rain but would be a pain to use for regular daily use. The umbrella comes in a small storage bag, inside a hard-shell case. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the case, very sturdy and will protect your umbrella from damage if stuck in a suitcase or trunk of the car. The umbrella itself is very small, a good size for travel or to keep in a car when needed. It’s fully manual, so you have to expand the umbrella stick (you just pull apart the telescoping handle) and then push open the top of the umbrella. I could see this being a pain to close or put away when it’s all wet and in the rain, it definitely is not a quick open and close. Overall it’s functional and works but dont think I would use this during extended days of rain where am constantly using an umbrella. But I do see it being useful to take on vacation/traveling in the case of rain or to keep in your trunk for emergency use.

Wow! This is one compact umbrella. It comes in a very nice case with a shoulder strap, and the umbrella fits in my hand. When you take it out of the case you will find that it is not round, but more of a flattened oval. I think this will make the umbrella fit better into purses/backpacks, etc. When I opened the umbrella, I had a little trouble getting it to stay open at first. Then I realized that there is a release button on the mechanism that I must have had my finger on. No problem now. I took the umbrella outside on a fairly breeze day and the umbrella handled the wind gusts just fine. And, what amazed me was that I was able to collapse the umbrella, get it into its cover and then into its case just fine. Wasnt really expecting that!

The third time I tried to use it, it got stuck like this. I only used the open/close button like the instructions said. When I went to push it down, it got stuck. Now the button won’t work to open or close it either.
