> 24 hourLeapfrog wants to put electronics into every toy, but they dont all need it. Building blocks to make vehicles for playing with are great, lets leave it at that.

> 24 hourThis kit is designed for children 18 months+, but despite that fact, I have it in my Kindergarten classroom full of English Learners. The kit comes already functioning with batteries, which is always a HUGE win, and has tons of color, number and shape words for children to learn! The students were disappointed when they thought it was a ‘baby’ toy, but as soon as I opened the package and put the pieces in with the other Legos, they were an IMMEDIATE hit! Most of my students come from other countries and this is their first exposure to English, so they had SO MUCH FUN putting the pieces into the talking base and learning what the name of the numbers and colors are on the smaller pieces! My one comment would be that the volume does not turn up very high, which sometimes makes it challenging to hear it.

> 24 hourBy far his favorite toy. He loves stacking the individual pieces and just making a big tower. We call it his Tower or Power haha I actually bought 2 sets so he could make a BIGGER tower I bet when he is older he will get more used out of the actual Red Smart Block but for now the Tower of Power has been a great success Recommend 100%

> 24 hourI like the blocks. The scanner that tells you whats on the block is pretty cool. I dont understand why the number blocks are two sided with different numbers on both sides!! If youre using these to learn numbers, you should have the numbers on one side and something to reinforce the number on the other. (One side should have 10 and the other should have 10 nails. There are 15 double-sided blocks so it would have been so easy to have 1 to 10 on ten blocks instead of five double-sided blocks. It makes it so much harder to use as a toy to help teach numbers. If you ask your child to find the 8, its a lot harder if your kid has to turn blocks around to find the eight. You cant put 1-10 in order. Its just awkward and weird since you have 15 interactive blocks! I want to use this for building, but I want to use it for learning too. It gets so close, but its marred by a glaring defect. Im still giving it three stars because they are nice blocks. I just dont really suggest it, so maybe I should be giving it two stars.

> 24 hourThis is an excellent learning toy and is very versatile in what can be built. It has several phrases and can identify letters, numbers, and pictures of various blocks. The sound can be adjusted to a high or low setting and it isnt a toy that has become annoying at all. Great for building vocabulary, both literally and figuratively. Also uses problem solving skills and role playing. At the time of this review the retail price was around $25 which is reasonable for the quality.
