By far his favorite toy. He loves stacking the individual pieces and just making a big tower. We call it his Tower or Power haha I actually bought 2 sets so he could make a BIGGER tower I bet when he is older he will get more used out of the actual Red Smart Block but for now the Tower of Power has been a great success Recommend 100%

Leapfrog wants to put electronics into every toy, but they dont all need it. Building blocks to make vehicles for playing with are great, lets leave it at that.

The LeapFrog Fix-It Truck is a really neat building toy. The way that the individual blocks can be clicked into the reader unit and then it talks to the kid about the picture on the block is neat. And an older kid can have fun learning about how the notches on the top of the block are read by the unit. The blocks and truck itself can be configured in a bunch of different ways, including making a type of crane with the pictured blocks. The blocks are nicely colored, holding up well to significant kid abuse, and nicely sized for a kid who isnt quite ready for small-block Legos yet.

Great way to take blocks to a whole new level. This set adds more educational value than just basic building blocks. More fun, too.

My grandson loves this. Its the perfect toy for his age. Its nonstop fun. Very vibrant colors. That alone keeps his attention. Hes in the construction stage of development so he likes seeing how things work and how he can put it together. This is a great Christmas gift.

This is a great set for older toddlers. The age says 18+months, but my 18 month old didnt really get it. That being said, its a super cute, well made toy. The pieces all stack together and are notched, so they fit. It moves in some very cool ways (that was the part my kiddo didnt really get) Its fun to stack up and my little one enjoyed knocking it down and the pieces were plenty durable enough to withstand that. As she gets older and starts to understand what the little truck can do, shes gonna like better, but for now, its still fun to build with.

This is a great playset for littles who love tech toys and building. Great start into education in engineering! The smart blocks are really cool, with so many educational but fun opportunities.

I like the blocks. The scanner that tells you whats on the block is pretty cool. I dont understand why the number blocks are two sided with different numbers on both sides!! If youre using these to learn numbers, you should have the numbers on one side and something to reinforce the number on the other. (One side should have 10 and the other should have 10 nails. There are 15 double-sided blocks so it would have been so easy to have 1 to 10 on ten blocks instead of five double-sided blocks. It makes it so much harder to use as a toy to help teach numbers. If you ask your child to find the 8, its a lot harder if your kid has to turn blocks around to find the eight. You cant put 1-10 in order. Its just awkward and weird since you have 15 interactive blocks! I want to use this for building, but I want to use it for learning too. It gets so close, but its marred by a glaring defect. Im still giving it three stars because they are nice blocks. I just dont really suggest it, so maybe I should be giving it two stars.

This seemed to be a fun learning toy. I gave it to my grandson for his birthday in September. Today I noticed that they hadnt taken the last strap off. In doing so, I learned that the round blocks when inserted in the front will tell what the picture is that is on that block. Unfortunately, most of the blocks do not match what the toy is saying. The toy says number three when the number five is showing; when you see the boots, it says bucket. Its too late to return. Good thing he is only two and likes to put the blocks together, or else this would be useless.
