> 3 dayI had my led light strand fixed in an about 10 minutes. Read the instructions which are folded inside the purple/yellow cardboard inserted in the package. It’s not intuitive, but once you read the instructions, it will all make sense.

> 3 dayI have been putting up outside Christmas Lights for nearly 50 years. I was always frustrated with the testers for incandescent light strings as they were not accurate or reliable. I finally switched to LEDs 3 or 4 years ago. Knowing I would still have issues with string lighting, I purchased the Keeper along with my first LED string of lights. The LED Keeper has proven to be a Life saver. I wrap my lights in balls of 900 bulbs each. When I get them out of storage, I plug them in and can quickly see what balls need attention. I unroll to the bad section and the keep quickly finds the bad bulb. With the cost of LEDs still pretty steep, this testers has Saved me a Bunch.

> 3 dayI gave it 4 stars for value for money. However, as far as I know, theres nothing else out there, and this tool is allowing me to repair existing sets. The other problem I have is that I still have a lot of incandescent sets, and I have to spend the money all over again to do my incandescent sets ... (incandescent tester is a little less expensive, but still a little pricey). Maybe Ill breakdown and buy the incandescent tester next year.

> 3 dayI wondered if I needed this tool before I bought it. I had 5 Christmas LED Nets and 2 LED strings that had lights out. I bought the tool and the strings were fixed in about 10 minutes each. The Nets took longer because they were made up of three strings each and two had multiple strings out. Some of the Nets also had multiple LEDs out and I was able to fix them all saving the cost of buying new Christmas lights. The tool was well worth the cost and I am happy with the quality and how well it works and the features it has. I used the wire connector and the LED tester. I did not need to use the fuse tester. I recommend this tool to anyone with Christmas lights that do not work.

> 3 dayAfter watching the videos provided by the manufacturer, it took a couple of tries to see how to test the light strings, but in the end it worked and was able to find the bad bulb within about 5 minutes.

> 3 dayI received this yesterday. After reviewing the instructions I was able to repair a strand of lights within 20-25 minutes. The repair of next 5 strands went much quicker. Well worth the money to salvage lights, otherwise theyd of went in the trash.

> 3 dayAt first it was uh-oh...then Wow - I repaired all 4 sets of string lights within 15 minutes. All sets were identical with identical symptoms, that is half the string didnt light. My first string, after following the instructions, I placed the tool in the midsection of the failed half and pulled the trigger. Per the instructions, one side should light while the other side remains dark...but in my case both ends lit up! After checking the instructions and their website, there was no mention of what to do in my case...I almost gave up until I decided to just check the fuses in the power plug and noticed one of the fuses was loose. After pushing the loose fuse back into place, the light worked! Second string: I checked the fuse but they looked fine. So I tried the tool, and this time I was able to follow the instructions as one side did not light, and was able to pinpoint the faulty LED. Actually the LED itself was fine, it was just loose from its socket. Third string: The fuses were fine, and just like the 2nd string I was able to pinpoint the loose LED. Fourth string: This time the faulty LED had its connectors twisted in such a way that it missed the connection to the socket contacts. Simply straightening out the LED wire connectors with my fingernail fixed it. The tool probably saved me at least 3 hours of frustrating work trying to check every bulb!

> 3 dayI used this to find bad LED bulbs in net lighting where I had replacement bulbs. It took a little experimenting to figure out how to use it with net lights but it was the same basic idea of a single string light. Once I learned how to follow the wiring, it worked quite well. I had 3 sets of lights to fix. One was fixed within 15 minutes with one dead bulb. The second took a half hour with 2 dead bulbs in the same 50 light section - made it a little trickier. The third set seemed unrepairable with this tool and I gave up. For simple string led lighting (as compared to net lighting), this tool would be very easy to use.
