> 3 dayA single strand of lights on our Balsam Hill prelit LED tree wouldn’t light when we setup our tree. The tree was purchased in Jan 2021. Using this keeper, we identified the bulb that needed replaced and had the full tree lit in 10 minutes. The clips were so useful!

> 3 dayI had one fairly long LED icicle string that had a 4ft section go dark last year. When I started putting up my lights this year, that section was still out. I decided to try this tester and within about 5 minutes I had isolated the problem down to a single LED. I replaced the LED and the section came back to life. It definitely saved me from having to buy a new string. I would prefer a pistol grip for holding it and squeezing the trigger... I felt holding this in my hand somewhat awkward. I will add that I am an Engineer who spent most of my career fixing computers, so the logical process of elimination required to use this was very intuitive for me. You have to keep track of what works and what doesnt while youre testing so you can gradually narrow it down to the failed LED(s)/socket(s). For me, it was absolutely worth the money.

> 3 dayI was ready to throw out 3 Sets of LED lights where half the string didn’t work. This device worked exactly as advertised and helped me figure out the burned out bulb in each string. Once the defective bulb was replaced, the lights worked perfectly. Be sure to follow along the instructional video. This is 100% worth the investment.

I RETURNED THE DEFECTIVE ONE AND WAS SENT A REPLACEMENT WHICH WORKS GREAT. ONLY NEGATIVE IS ITS A BIT CLUMSY FOR AN OLD 78 YR OLD TO USE. AFTER A BIT I GOT THE HANG OF IT. LOVE IT!

> 3 daySo this tool helped me repair 3 long LED sets that were completely out. It would have cost me about $75 to replace the sets so I decided to try this tool instead. With it, I was able to find and replace many bad LEDs in the sets so that they worked again. It took me about an hour per set. In the end, I ended up replacing 15 bulbs total. Heres the BIG BUT if youre thinking of buying this. Do you have plenty of LEDs lying around to replace the bad ones? This does not include replacement bulbs. Remember that LEDs are NOT universal. Every set seems to use a different shaped base on its bulbs. I used an x-acto Knife to reshape the bases of the LEDs I had lying around to fit in different sets. On 2 of my other sets, I gave up because the bases were badly corroded. This kit includes 2 replacements for corroded bases so after that what are you going to do? Also, in my case, even though I got the sets working, what happens when they fail again? Im out of bulbs and once they are on the house, Im not taking them back down to troubleshoot in the winter. The bulbs are all the same age so it stands to reason that there will be plenty more failing soon. After this season, I will be buying new sets on clearance. So the decision is yours. How old are your sets? Do you have the patience to troubleshoot? Do you have lots of spare bulbs? Are you sure its just a bulb issue and not corroded sockets? The tool works. Start halfway up the set and work your way down the line. It lights up what works and easily tests individual bulbs once you remove them. It comes with a 9V battery installed and ready to go. If you have lots of bulbs out, test one at a time using the tool crimping the wire until you start finding bad ones (start at the end closest to the plug. Good luck!

> 3 dayWish I had bought this sooner. Its easy to use, instructions seem like they are lacking, but if you read them closely, it lays out exactly what to do. save myself from having to get new lights mid season this year by just repairing a couple led bulbs that were burnt out.

Greater than one weekVery impressed with this product. I first thought it was a gimmick item, but the videos are clear and easy to understand, and they explain the products functionality. You do need to watch the video, and it will not only explain how the product works but provides you the knowledge on how the light sets function. After watching the video, it took me less than 10 minutes to fully diagnose and repair my prelit Christmas tree! I am a hero now!

> 3 dayProduct worked as advertised. I watched the instructional video before purchasing and learned a thing or two about LED lights Make no mistake, fixing LED strings will not be as fast as using the LightkeeperPro on incandescent strings ( what could be faster than a couple of pulls on the trigger?), but it is definitely faster and more reliable than a bulb by bulb check. I repaired 4 sets of LED Net lights the first evening. Some took longer than others because they had multiple problem bulbs within a single section. By my count I’ve already paid for the tool 3 times over and expect to save more of my LED sets. My chief problem now is finding replacement LED bulbs as I am running out of the supply that came with the sets. If you have LED sets that won’t ligh or only partially light, this product is for you. If you only have one set, probably best to just buy a new set. If you are like me and have 40 sets (big yard), you’ve got to have this tool in hand your arsenal. Brian Rowlett, Texas

> 3 dayI had my led light strand fixed in an about 10 minutes. Read the instructions which are folded inside the purple/yellow cardboard inserted in the package. It’s not intuitive, but once you read the instructions, it will all make sense.
