> 3 dayI wasnt sure if it would work with icicle light sets but it does. It works, is easy to use and is worth the money spent. This is one time saving multi tool that I never knew I needed.

> 3 dayI have been putting up outside Christmas Lights for nearly 50 years. I was always frustrated with the testers for incandescent light strings as they were not accurate or reliable. I finally switched to LEDs 3 or 4 years ago. Knowing I would still have issues with string lighting, I purchased the Keeper along with my first LED string of lights. The LED Keeper has proven to be a Life saver. I wrap my lights in balls of 900 bulbs each. When I get them out of storage, I plug them in and can quickly see what balls need attention. I unroll to the bad section and the keep quickly finds the bad bulb. With the cost of LEDs still pretty steep, this testers has Saved me a Bunch.

> 3 dayExtremely disappointed in this product. Theres so much about its design and function that it makes no sense. Its to the point Im confused about all the positive reviews. Ill go down a list of what is wrong with the thing: - the instructions are terrible. I had to find the official video guide online to figure out how to use it - a string of lights must be plugged into the device meaning the lights will be lit by a 9 volt battery. The battery just didnt provide enough juice to light up the LEDs well enough to tell if the light is bad or dim (because its so dim it doesnt appear to light up) - if the strings wires are twisted pretty tightly (like theyre supposed to) its difficult to slip the wire into the testing hook. and this is the biggest ????? of them all: - the LED keeper cuts through the wires insulation to make a complete electrical circuit which is a stupid and inconvenient method of detecting bad lights. Ultimately what this is going to do is kill the string of lights faster by allowing the copper wire to be exposed to the elements, especially if the string the LED keeper is used to fix is going to be used outside. The LED keeper wasnt able to help me find any bad lights at all. Seriously, youre better off buying a contactless voltage detector and watching a youtube video tell you how to use one to detect bad lights on a string of Christmas lights. Its much cheaper and faster than the LED keeper. To make matters worse, what Amazon shipped me was either used or returned and definitely not new.

> 3 dayAfter watching the videos provided by the manufacturer, it took a couple of tries to see how to test the light strings, but in the end it worked and was able to find the bad bulb within about 5 minutes.

> 3 dayYear after year we have tons of icicle lights that all of a sudden won’t work after being stored. After years of purchasing new sets and wasting so much money we decide to try this and it is so helpful. We were able to save about 80% of the strands that weren’t lighting up by pinpointing dead bulbs and replacing them. It’s tedious work but worth it.

> 3 dayThis light tester saved 5 of my 6 strings of icicle lights! I didnt know how well this would work with icicle lights but it turns out it works great and is very easy to use. When I pulled my lights out this year 5 of the strings didnt fully light so I bought a couple more strings of lights. As I was hanging one of the old string of lights half of that string went out which now equaled 6 total strings that didnt work. I already had it on the house and didnt want to take it down so we decided to get this tester. I tested it out on one of the strings not on the house and BOOM right off the bat I fixed a string. I eventually got on the roof and fixed the string while it was still attached to the roof. Over all I was able to fix 5 of the 6 strings that didnt work. One string even had ALL of the lights out and I was able to fix it! The bulb tester works great and the bulb remover on the end is a finger saver! Soooo glad we bought this! Now Ive pulled all the working bulbs out of my string I couldnt fix and Im going to use those bulbs for replacements down the road. BUY BUY BUY this tester!

> 3 dayGreat little device to save time and money instead of buying lights every year when a half of the string dies and you cant figure out which bulb is bad. There is a learning curve if you follow the instructions. But once you get the hang of it you can go through a string of bulbs in a matter of minutes and find your bad one. Brought back to life six strings of lights that I knew were bad. It has the function to test the lightbulb, fuse and the string of wires. Good investment instead of having to run out and replace your lights.

Greater than one weekDriving to my moms and I see a LED snowman sitting on the side of the road with a FREE sign hanging from it. Why not! Get it home thinking I could use my mini light keeper. Nope I needed this one. Since I had success with the mini light, I ordered this one. Took a bit of time to figure it out the process but using the pods, I was able to restore it and it look great! I ordered more pods in case the need ever arises. Highly recommend these repair tools.
