LEGO Avatar Jake & Neytiri First Banshee Flight 75572, Pandora Movie Set with Toy Dragon-Like Figures, Minifigures and Glow in The Dark Elements

This is a great set, it has almost 600 pieces and is very colorful. It is fun to build and help the kids bring the story of avatar to life. As per Lego, it is a little spendy, but absolutely worth the quality. Also who doesnt love cool flying creatures! This set is sure to please.

If you are considering buying this, I recommend taking a close look at set #75574. It costs much more but it is a much better set with more playability and more fidelity to the movie. I think the rendering of the banshees in the two sets is illustrative of what you do and do not get. This set gets you two banshees but the wings are only somewhat movable, and the legs and body are minimally present (if at all). The banshees are always in flight mode. In set #75574, you get one banshee but it is all there, legs, fully movable wings. You can pose this banshee in flight or on the ground. I think if I were a hardcore fan of the film, I would want set #75574. The banshees in 75572 feel cut-rate. Okay, that said, this set does give you two banshees. When placed on the terrain model which has a waterfall and floating islands, they look good as a set piece. The Jake mini figure has a goofy surprised look on his face. Neytiri looks right. The terrain model has fuchsia colored plants and, my favorite, glow-in-the-dark carrots. This is the first set that I know of with this part. So there you go. The build is fairly easy. The banshees are constructed the same, just with different coloring. My eyes are always distracted by the ball fittings used to keep the wing sheets on. The wings are simple technic frames that arent terribly realistic from the underside. The banshee heads are good. The tails are good. I still recommend the more expensive set...

Grandson loves Lego.

My kids are absolute fans of Avatar (including the Banshee ride at Disney World) and of Lego. More specifically, they are fans of minifigures. This set checks all boxes for Lego, Avatar, and minifigures. The secret star of this collection are the two minifigures. They are wonderfully drawn and designed. I dont remember seeing any minifigures like it, since they are a bit taller, I think, and my kids had an absolute blast with them. Another thing that is not apparent is that even though the banshees are fairly large (box has the dimensions), it does come with two! In my situation, both my kids were able to have their own banshee and minifigure! One last thing is even though you build two banshees, you also get a little bit of an environment to build which is actually a stand to hold the two banshees. Its nice having a place to put the finished banshees to sit on a shelf or a desk. Overall, it wasnt a hard build, and my two kids did their halves without a problem!

Great Lego set!! It took a couple of hours to assemble, but it was very enjoyable and easy to follow the directions. I dont usually think of Legos as being pretty, but this set really is! This pairs well with the other Avatar sets, though my boys have added them in to all sorts of different scenes.

The box was delivered torn on the side but all pieces were intact and given as a Christmas gift to my grandsons

I bought this set, upon arrival, 2-6-23, it has none of the minifigures, none of the wing printing and neither of the Ikrans heads, thus not allowing me to actually build it. I cant even get a refund either because the box has already been trashed.

Legos never disappoint in quality and giftable items. Avatar is a favorite around our house and this was a hit. Highly recommend. Great gift for young or old, any occasion.
