Our son is a lego fanatic. He loves to build cities so whenever we can add just the basic lego bricks to his collection we do it. This would be a nice stater set to anyone that wants to start a large collection as it has most of the basics in lots of colors

Makes a great gift, but dont let the kids see it! Otherwise you might as well buy a second one, because this is pretty awesome. Comes in a HUGE, vibrant box! The box contains sorting trays, which is a great feature. As an AFOL, I can respect sorting. As a dad, this makes cleanup a lot more fun. On its own, the kids have spent over an hour just color sorting parts, then by size and shape! Im so proud. HAHA. So much fun for the little ones. I love that this also comes with baseplates, something Lego phased out of most other sets. The kids now have a set area to build their houses, barns, stables, garages, coffee shops... whatever they want! The instructions that come with this set allow for really quick builds to get the kids playing fast. Lots of small parts, so keep that in mind. Overall, a fantastic starter set for the young one who is ready to graduate from Lego Juniors into the larger world of building more, all without getting overwhelmed with complicated instructions. Also a great amount/variety of parts to increase your existing collection. Get it. Give it. Enjoy! You wont regret it.

There are tons of blocks. There are instructions for making 30-40 small creatures, and you can make all of the creatures without having to disassemble any that youve already made. My 6 and 3 year old daughters loved building out all of these and putting them in a pen.

Ive had Legos all my life and I still collect it and Im excited to get a large set for my son to he can build his own things and make memories. This particular set is huge and includes tons and tons of pieces he can build whatever he wants to Plus its colorful he is really into rainbows right now so it fits his favorite theme.

This is an amazing set with some fantastic pieces! The variety is wonderful and allows for the builder to be very creative and imaginative! I love that there are little instruction books included! You can build 30+ little creatures and the storage dividers in the box make it easy to find the colors or pieces you need! This is by far one of the nicest sets of Legos Ive every gotten! I would absolutely recommend this for a kid of any age!! Adults too!

Building huge Lego models like the Harry Potter castle is quite an experience, and I am very glad I did it, but once its done, I am very reluctant to tear it apart again. The same is true for the Lego playsets, where the value in the set is the final built product to play with. You cant play with it if you tear it apart. This set gets back to the origins of Lego, with small models that can spur creativity, and plenty of bricks for children to experiment with their own builds. This is how Lego was in my childhood, where a play session started out with a coffee can full of loose bricks, and ended up the same way.

This Lego Set is huge so it’s great to keep your kids busy. My nephew’s been on it and still working on it. He loves this Lego Set.

Cell, this was a great value compared to others. Lots and lots of pieces. Just so glad it was a gift and not in our floor.
