The packaging is very well thought our. Along the edge of the box are images of the models the included instructions contain. It also doubles as a storage box with 3 trays and 5 divided sections. That alone makes this a great first kit as it is great storage for a surprising amount of Legos. The included models and instructions are what you would expect from this style of product. Simple assembly with clear directions.

I bought this for my almost 4 year old and he loves playing with it. You can never go wrong with classic Legos.

I love that this comes with instructions how to build certain things I also love that it comes with compartments and has everything divided by color I would definitely recommend to any child just getting into Legos it would be an awesome beginner kit or even us just an add-on to a collection

This is a BIG box. Lightweight but takes up a LOT of room. I like that you can reuse the box to store your pieces but trust me it will not last long for that purpose when you have kids. As already stated in other reviews you can go to their website and find infinite templates to use with this set. I like that. If you have kids that like variety this provides it. As with all LEGOs these are well made and built to last. Very happy with this.

This is an amazing set with some fantastic pieces! The variety is wonderful and allows for the builder to be very creative and imaginative! I love that there are little instruction books included! You can build 30+ little creatures and the storage dividers in the box make it easy to find the colors or pieces you need! This is by far one of the nicest sets of Legos Ive every gotten! I would absolutely recommend this for a kid of any age!! Adults too!

Normally Im not the type of person to get the creative Lego sets. This is still really cool though because there are included ideas as well as other ideas online from random Lego fans. So even with my limited imagination I have a ton of little things Im excited to build. Legos dont even need a review they are fun for people for all ages and easy to put together and take apart. PS if you have kids they probably want this!

We already have a ton of LEGO, but can you ever really have enough? Ive been building since I was a kid and now my kids build too. Were always looking to add more parts and this set comes with a good variety of parts, in good colors. Also, the larger Classic sets are usually one of the least expensive options for variety bulk parts, from a price-per-part perspective. New to LEGO or thinking about giving this set as a gift? I think this set would be good for someone just starting out with LEGO and wanting free build and/or someone whos not necessarily looking for specific kits and just wants lots of parts. The built-in sorting box is neat and may be useful if you dont already have a storage solution.
