My 8 yr old loves challenging LEGO sets so bought him this along with the Castle and he spent hours of enjoyment! Highly recommend !

Great name

It seems that the highlight of this set is the Ford Anglia, which looks really nice. The Whomping Willow tree is a decent build for a small parts count, but the largest part of this set, the Hogwarts builds, are the most disappointing. It comes in four modules, one of which is a large gate that does not belong in Hogwarts castle, and the other two are nearly identical potions rooms. Kids will have more fun with playable sets like the Quidditch match and older kids will enjoy more displayable sets like the Great Hall.

My 9-year-old, who refers to himself as a master builder, put this together in about an hour. He graciously let me help and I, a self-proclaimed lego novice, had no trouble putting together the car, albeit at a slightly slower pace. Aside from looking awesome, you can rearrange the castle rooms to create different play sets. I was pleasantly surprised to see my son and daughter playing creatively with it long after it was built. There are lots of fun little details, potions, spell books, license plates on the car, wands, etc. that any Harry Potter fan will love!

This product was our featured holiday present to our seven-year-old grandson. He likes Harry Potter but adores Lego. He had it finished after a few hours of non-stop work.

My 9 year old grandson, a huge Harry Potter fan, received this for Christmas and loved it! Assembled it in less than an hour. Now it stands proudly in the family room!

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loved it. He already had the Great Hall Lego kit, so this was a great add-on to expand the kit.
