> 24 hourHonestly this is a really good set and most of it is worthy of the UCS title, but the tail fins just don’t hold up to the quality or robustness you’d expect. They’re not fixed and are built of just 2-3 flat pieces layered for texture, so while looking decent they’re very fragile and can be knocked out of alignment by even the gentlest touch

> 24 hourThe lego itself is great, very sleek set. My only gripe is the shipping. I got it from some third party not actually the Amazon warehouse but any way they didn’t even put the lego box in a shipping box just slapped all the mailing stickers right on the actual lego box and sent it on it’s way. So of course the box was pretty much destroyed. It’s actually stopped me from buying U.C.S. Online, I’d rather take a 4 hour round trip to the actual lego store and know I’ll get a perfect product

> 24 hourThis is a beautiful set - could use some minor improvements but then Im a wacko when it comes to Star Wars. This set is moderate to very difficult in terms of challenge - not for kids. But if you appreciate and adore all things Star Wars - you will love this. That and it doesnt take much space. There are an obscene number of small pieces - for something small and compact - its very elegant and complex in design and structure. Hence my remark - not for kids. But the challenge is what makes it that good.

> 24 hourOverall I believe this model to be well done and designed in a way that it provides a challenge and fun assembling. The cockpit area is very sturdy and has some interesting mechanics that allow other components to be attached later. My main gripe is that, for $200 this model is lacking in a couple of areas. - Some of the stickers are cheap. I would expect printed bricks, especially on the hood of the spacecraft. The stickers provided just seem cheap. - The engines jiggle. They are not attached very well. While they would not fall off, especially this being a display model I would have like the overall structure to be more sturdy. - The canopy does not open. I think, especially for a UCS model; movable parts should be movable. The minifigure (Pilot) is great and well done. As the A-Wing is not to scale with most normal minifigs, the pilor does not fit inside the cockpit. The stand is sturdy and I have no apprehensions it falling or tipping. Overall I am quite satisfied with the model thus I dont think it should be UCS and should not have been $200 in my opinion.

> 24 hourThis was a very frustrating set to build. Many pieces just dont go together very nicely. Children that are actually going to handle or play with this are going to be unhappy with it. What could have been interesting approaches to assembly were just frustrating. Todays custom Lego pieces, which this set has several of, limit using the pieces for more creative builds and other uses.

> 24 hourOverall I think it’s a fun build but a few things left me scratching my head. Both engines (and a few other components) are held on only by 1 piece each - surprising considering the size. I would have though they would have been design with more stability. Which leads me to saying it’s not a “play time” set and more of a sit on the shelf set. Pro is the fact I was super impressed the side cannons rotate backwards as they do on the “real” A-wing.

> 24 hourShipped without an outer box. Lego box was destroyed and has a nice shipping label on it. Come on Amazon, spend the money on the box. These are collector items. So much for the customer obsession.
