> 3 dayIt’s huuuuge. But. It’s a little older model so each bag is actually multiple bags. Bag 1 is actually 4 bags with a 1 on it. I’m fine with it but it’s probably more difficult for newer builders who are used to smaller bags and easier steps. Also when I say big, u need a big workspace, the model itself is large enough while building but the instruction manual is humongous

> 3 dayThere is so much one can say about this super huge set. I built mine over 14 hours and a half and it just looks awesome in the table in the living room. It is a must for any Star Wars lego fan, and in general for any Star Wars fan. I will start by saying that the building is not as exciting. Many repetitive sections and too much empty space inside the ship. Yes, you build a couple of sections of the interior of the ship, but so much wasted space. The construction techniques, if that is something you are looking for, is sort of a mixed bag. Some sections are amazing, techniques really unique. But other sections leave just thinking mmm.... like those sections could have been better or used different pieces. Still, for its size, I would say that it is pretty good. Once complete, it loks amazing, but this is definitively the less playset set I have seen. Moving it around is super hard, as the ship itself is not super sturdy. It is definitively a collectible and not something to be playing around. Even for dusting it, it is very hard. It also doesnt help that some sections of the hull are just sitting there, with really no real support to make them more sturdy. This is for me what makes it a collectible that wont see much movement. Having built other big sets from lego, while I still loved this Millenium Falcom, there was this feeling that for its price, it should have been a better building experience. Still, it is an awesome lego set that I love having in my collection.

Greater than one weekIf you have $800 laying around and are in the market for a mini figure scale Millennium Falcon this is probably going to be your best bet. Also remember 2 feet by 3 feet is pretty large so I recommend buying something for your significant other or mom or whoever you live with because this is basically a piece of furniture and they might be mad at you especially when it shows up unannounced. I recommend building it in the room you plan on keeping it in because it’s not easy to fit it through a traditional doorway. This thing is amazing, beautiful, so fun to build and I guarantee once you’re done building it and even while you build it, it’ll be worth every penny to you.

> 3 dayI mean where do you even start with this? This is an AMAZING build, I had so much fun building this and was up way too late for a lot of nights working on it. There is SO much detail throughout the entire set, it is so well thought out and the attention to every little detail is awesome. Take lots of pictures throughout the build to reference later if you need to put something back Be prepared to spend a ton of time building this, I dont think I even really know how much time I spent on it, but every minute of it was so much fun. I finished it ~13 days after I started it, but I worked on it in the morning, during breaks and at night after the kids went to bed. I highly suggest getting some trays to put the pieces into for each step, I bought (2) trays and would open the bags and put all the larger parts into one of the trays and the smaller parts into the other tray and that really sped up the process. I only started that on maybe day 3 and it was a lot smoother once I did. The other big suggestion that I have would be to look ahead a few steps in the instructions each time you are starting a new piece/section; there were a couple times you could build duplicates of pieces, but it only showed you on the last step. That didnt happen very many times, usually the first step would show you x2 and you could build the multiple pieces at the same time, but I definitely got caught by that at least once. Make sure you have a big area to build, I used a larger coffee table to build on and the couch to keep the unopened bags on. If you have small kids be careful, there are lots of small parts around during the build and it would be easy for them to get ahold of them. A lot of people asked me what was the point of all the detail on the inside of the Millennium Falcon once the top was on. Each of the panels comes off the top to expose all the details on the inside, so you can take a look at things later or leave a couple panels off if you want to. I would recommend taking pictures when you are assembling those sections of where the connecting rods go so you remember how to put it back together when you do that them off. There is definitely a certain order it needs to be done in so that all the pieces lay properly. If you are going to get a stand or case, know that all of them require you to remove if not all of the landing pads most of the landing pads, which kind of sucks, but it definitely helps with the foot print in the end if you are going to display it. Overall I highly recommend this set if you are into Star Wars and enjoy a more complicated build. I had a lot of fun building it and love having it to display in my office!
