> 3 dayAs a huge Star Wars fan, I felt compelled to get this expensive set as opposed to the recent, $150 Millenium Falcon. The set is indeed amazing, great for a collection piece, lots of details. Some things I wish I Knew before buying it 1) Definitely for display, not really for play. Why? Bc its huge, it weights a lot, and bc of the size, it is not very sturdy. Other lego ships I feel like they are extremely sturdy (Slave 4, multiple other smllaer ones), but the Millennium falcon is not very sturdy. The majority of the top flaps come off actually so you can see some of the inside. However, bc they come off, it makes the set less sturdy 2) be extremely careful when you are assembling, as it is almost impossible to disassemble and go back. Bc I did not realize that it wasnt very sturdy, I left my set on the bed, it toppled, and I had to rebuild parts of it. Not a pleasant experience. Assemble carefully 3) treat it with care. Again, bc its huge and the top flaps come off, not very sturdy. This is the set to make people wonder, but not really meant to be moved around a lot.

> 3 dayOk, honestly, I havent cracked the seal on the box yet on my set. However, I have several fellow Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) that have bought and built this set over the years, so Ive seen numerous displays and builds over the years. At over 7500 pieces, it was Legos largest set until the Colosseum dropped last year, and the Art World Map came out this year. The great thing about this iteration of The Falcon is the incredible level of detail and hidden little Easter eggs throughout the set. Another nice feature is the inclusion of not only the classic trilogy characters (in standard Minifigures size), but they included the new trilogys main cast as well! So whichever you prefer, you can have captain the ship and perform various tasks and comedic things in and on the MILLENNIUM FALCON. If you are a SERIOUS AFOL and Star Wars super fan, than this $800 set is a great collectable to add to any home! There are numerous third party display cases & mounts for displaying this massive (I mean MASSIVE!), nearly 30lb set, so be sure to check those out as well! There are even some lighting kits out there, which is suggest picking one up (if you want working lights) BEFORE building, so its easier to add that feature while building, instead of having to tear it apart and rebuild later.

> 3 dayWaited all Black Friday week refreshing to get this on Lightning Deal only to have it sell out in less time than it took to add and buy it. Not pleased with Amazons handling of it as they either didnt put many for sale at the sale price (click bait) or fell victim to bots. Called twice and spent over a combined hour trying to get them to honor the deal (40% off) with no luck. Decided to go ahead and sell off some other sets to pay full price. If I hadnt opened a Prime Card to get a discount, Id have bought it off Lego.com to get points towards freebies and future purchases. I really appreciate how Amazon shipped it inside original Lego shipper box for added protection. Arrived in great shape. The unboxing was fun as the four inside boxes have art and movie quotes about the Falcon. The instruction manual is heavy and well-printed with lots of extras for fun reading. The build took about 20 hours ( and Id consider myself advanced). The minifigs chosen for the set are cool and appropriate. Id recommend building a display stand for them. The build itself was mostly fun as its both lego technic on the interior and shell covering for the outside and details. The detail, size, and weight are no joke. I feel this is definitely more a display piece than a playset and needs a vertical display stand in order to truly show off the detail without using too much shelf space. It can be difficult to move, so hang onto all instructions in case something falls off. I tried doing Lightailing and Briksmax, but its very difficult and in my mind not worth the headache. Overall, a great piece if you can afford it, find the time and room to build and display it, and feel satisfied not having much playability with it.

> 3 dayWonderful set! The $800 price tag was a bit much to swallow, but honestly, the price/brick for a UCS Star Wars set is not bad at all at just 10.6 cents/brick. Pretty good value, really. The organization of the bags within the boxes is a little funky, but, its whatever. Have fun!

Greater than one weekFrom the moment I received the package was an awesome moment.. just from the moment opening it.. the thrill of emotions came up harder and faster... Till the moment I left every bag out was incredible.. by now Im converting every lonely brick into this massive ship. Every day I take a moment to assamble this part by part and Im very happy with it. Its not my first lego but it is my first in more than 20 years...maybe my first lego was at eight or so and now Im 33 reviving those moments of passion when I was a kid with this. Doing this ship is in another level.. you dont have to be fan of Star Wars to appreciate this masterpiece of Lego... But if you are probably you will get triple emotions like me. Happy building people, hope you can get it and have the same fun Im having.

> 3 dayMy partner and I bought this LEGO set to cut back on evening television watching during the COVID shelter-in-place restrictions, and now dedicate a couple of nights per week to building this LEGO project together. Sortof like some people play cards or put together puzzles. Its a fun way to feel productive, and to connect without the distraction of television. Were now well on our way to finishing building this incredible Millennium Falcon model and cant wait to proudly display it! The book not only contains very detailed step by step instructions, but also a lot of nice history regarding Star Wars origins. This set is really awesome and is sure to keep you busy for weeks (if not months). Awesome project!
