As a huge Star Wars fan, I felt compelled to get this expensive set as opposed to the recent, $150 Millenium Falcon. The set is indeed amazing, great for a collection piece, lots of details. Some things I wish I Knew before buying it 1) Definitely for display, not really for play. Why? Bc its huge, it weights a lot, and bc of the size, it is not very sturdy. Other lego ships I feel like they are extremely sturdy (Slave 4, multiple other smllaer ones), but the Millennium falcon is not very sturdy. The majority of the top flaps come off actually so you can see some of the inside. However, bc they come off, it makes the set less sturdy 2) be extremely careful when you are assembling, as it is almost impossible to disassemble and go back. Bc I did not realize that it wasnt very sturdy, I left my set on the bed, it toppled, and I had to rebuild parts of it. Not a pleasant experience. Assemble carefully 3) treat it with care. Again, bc its huge and the top flaps come off, not very sturdy. This is the set to make people wonder, but not really meant to be moved around a lot.

Got this on a may 4th sale. Love it, but the box was hashed by delivery seller people, wink wink. Make sure you select gift wrapping, I feel so dumb for not.

Amazing detail, fun to build. I purchased this as a present for myself and my kids (ages 6 and 9). Though not really designed for playing with, this set does allow for some fun for the kids. It took about 2 weeks to build, working about 1-2 hours 5-6 out of 7 days of the week. It was fun to build with the kids, though some of the steps are much more difficult for the younger kids to follow (there are almost 1400 steps). It was amazing to see it come together and my kids eyes as it started to truly look like the Falcon. I enjoyed it and will continue to. Just be aware that it does have a hefty price tag. You will have to decide if it is worth the much money for you. It was for us!

It’s huuuuge. But. It’s a little older model so each bag is actually multiple bags. Bag 1 is actually 4 bags with a 1 on it. I’m fine with it but it’s probably more difficult for newer builders who are used to smaller bags and easier steps. Also when I say big, u need a big workspace, the model itself is large enough while building but the instruction manual is humongous

If you have $800 laying around and are in the market for a mini figure scale Millennium Falcon this is probably going to be your best bet. Also remember 2 feet by 3 feet is pretty large so I recommend buying something for your significant other or mom or whoever you live with because this is basically a piece of furniture and they might be mad at you especially when it shows up unannounced. I recommend building it in the room you plan on keeping it in because it’s not easy to fit it through a traditional doorway. This thing is amazing, beautiful, so fun to build and I guarantee once you’re done building it and even while you build it, it’ll be worth every penny to you.

Sturdy and very detailed. We got this for our Lego loving son and he spent nearly 2 weeks bringing this creation to fruition. The detail inside that provides support is amazing and the size is huge! A toddler may try to ride it. Was pleasantly surprised. Not that Lego lets you down but this is amazing in scope. The illustrated book hat comes with it just adds to the finished work. This is something you will want to display. Not for young children and it is a bit heavy once completed. Well worth the money. Will update with pictures.

It was a fun assembly over several days, and the final result looks great. Tons of greebling. Most of the build techniques were not particularly mind blowing, though there were some interesting techniques used to support its massive size. Overall, an improvement over the previous version. I disliked how the top and bottom surfaces mostly just lay on (or hang from) the frame of the assembly. The arent well tied together, so the rear part of the ship looks unfinished. But ultimately, its too big. The idea of a 7500 piece Lego set sounds amazing, but the sheer size takes away a lot. It took up my whole coffee table hanging over the sides. I couldnt find any kind of shelf or side table to put it on. If you wanted to hang it, or even put it at an angle, youd have to glue it together. I disassembled mine, put it back in its cavernous box and will eventually sell it. If you are a die-hard Star Wars and Lego fan, and are willing to pay the Disney tax, it might be for you. Be prepared to set aside a room in your house. For other Lego fans, there are lots of big 2000-4000 piece sets I would recommend instead. Get two or four of those for the cost of the UCS Falcon.

This was the best lego I have built so far. The instructions were clear and the pieces fit perfectly. It took 3 weeks of part time building to complete. I have done the Imperial Star Destroyer and all the Technic cars. The Effiel Tower is next.

Ridiculously expensive but a thoroughly enjoyable build. I have found it somewhat difficult to move safely once assembled.
