Waited for 5 years to buy this set. Glad I finally did. About 38hrs to build. Great fun and recommend for any lego enthusiast.

I finally finished building this beauty!! It took me over a month, but I was in no rush and had to divide my time between work and family time. You definitely have to have a place for it to sit WHILE you build, let alone display. Be aware, although the frame is pretty solid, when you start to add all the outer layers this set still has quite a bit of give when handling and moving. A lot of the top pieces sit using gravity to hold them in place. There are little spaces and gaps here and there, but if you’ve built other UCS sets before, this should be no surprise.Considering the amount of pieces and the total weight, I find this acceptable. I only mention this because it will definitely take away the “swoosh ability “ factor. Darn. Of course, at the end of the day, or late night, she is absolutely a stunning piece of work to behold. The detail is amazing! You really need to see it for yourself.

such a waste of money but hey, it was the nostalgia that counts haha. i havent owned a lego set in like 15 years. this was such a dope set to build and im happy i burned a hole in my pocket for it. i just wish it had more minifigures. shoutout lego for giving me a valid reason to not respond to my girlfriends texts right away. im talking about hours later lol. now its time to spend an outrageous amount of money on a display case to keep the dust from getting on this beauty.

10/10 Will get destroyed by energetic kitten. Would do again.

Before purchasing this set, I read a lot of reviews on Amazon. Some said the set was very fragile, but after building it, I have to say that this is simply not the case at all. If you follow the directions closely and build it as instructed, this set is very sturdy. The main structural frame is extremely well designed with multiple redundancies to prevent it from coming apart (the technic pieces play a large part with this). Of course, the exterior is so well detailed with so many tiny pieces, that some of these will fall off if handled incorrectly, but as long as you dont drop the set, you dont need to worry about anything important falling apart. Not much detail work is put into the bottom of the ship - while one can view this as a drawback, it really helps with carrying the set around as you can just wrap your arms underneath without fear of disturbing any fragile sections. This Millennium Falcon is a gorgeous set to look at and a challenging build. Well worth the $800 price tag!

Obviously quite expensive, but so much fun. Very detailed and intricate build. Highly recommend for any Star Wars/Legos fan.

I ordered this exact same kit from an advertisement on face book. My grandson received a kit with literally four snap together pieces and a few light wires. He was so disappointed not that his toy was not what he had expected but that I had obviously been scammed. When he received his gift this time he teared up and said there are some people who really want this toy bad and I am fortunate enough to have it. I am so grateful for the ability to make this right for this child. I cant thank you enough.

This was the best lego I have built so far. The instructions were clear and the pieces fit perfectly. It took 3 weeks of part time building to complete. I have done the Imperial Star Destroyer and all the Technic cars. The Effiel Tower is next.
