I love the light that these bulbs put out. They should last longer than normal bulbs too!

I bought the wrong size base for my fridge. Pay attention to the details, kids. It helps. I did not return these as I missed the window. I DID buy the correct size and finally have light in my fridge again after an embarrassingly long time without it. Also do not wait months to replace your bulbs because you’re lazy. These are my helpful adulting tips on life today.

Lepro LED Refrigerator Light Bulb, 40W Equivalent For some odd reason, my husband has been getting into bulbs lately. He has told me the reasons, but probably like my books, it only makes sense to him. He saw these, and he wanted them. I admit that they worked great. The cool-white light from these (5000K) looks much more natural in a refrigerator than the warm color of an incandescent. They threaded directly into our refrigerators sockets, and the light they give is very uniform and bright and they dont flicker. My husband remarked that theyre also only using 5W of power instead of the 40W of the incandescent bulbs, which were mostly just heating up the refrigerator when they were on anyway. He’s happy. Highly recommend.

Working just fine. One makes more light than two of my old, original refrigerator bulbs.

This is going to be a Critical review. These give off that bright Daylight super white bright color (Similar to original Florescent tube lights) the rating says 5000K color, but I think these are closer to 6500K. Color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K), and there are three common ranges: Warm Light (2700K-3000K) (Traditional incandescent bulbs); Cool White (3000K-5000K), and Daylight (5000K-6500K) Replacing fridge light with this color (6500K) was first time experience for me. At first it was bit confusing each time you open the fridge door as if you are in the wrong place, where things are totally off color, But then you soon get used to it. The fridge now seems all-white all around inside and out (Our fridge has white color exterior and white color interior) including white color lights that these LED bulbs now put out. Having said that, the contents of the fridge is clearly visible including the dirt and ice cream drops! the CRI index is somewhat off but you are not going to take photographs of fridge contents nor stare at them for too long keeping the fridge door open so, it is a non-issue. Energy savings on a fridge bulb is somewhat pointless unless you keep your fridge door open most of the time (Nobody does that) so, 5W 450 Lumens for replacing and incandescent equivalent of 40W makes sense only if your fridge bulb has burned out and you are looking that last light bulb in the house you overlooked to go green for the planet earth by swapping out every bulbs to LED.. You may need shades to open your fridge after replacing with Lepro LED Refrigerator bulbs.. Yes! they are super bright white! Making LED Refrigerator Bulbs seems ideal choice. Now.. has any manufacturer come with an LED bulb for the oven? :-) as that also needs planet energy saving marketing PR stunts. That will be interesting gizmo to review to see how many FANs and or cooling FINs are sticking out the LED heatsink! just to keep P/N junction under normal operating temperatures. Rating the product with three stars for price and performance.

The bulb seems to work great- nice and bright. But as you can see in the pictures, to get to the bulb I had to open this nasty, scuzzy, smelly box. Exactly what caused the nasty stain on the box you might ask? The Amazon box it came in was clean and dry. Is the stain caused by dirty water? Someone fooling around in a warehouse and peeing on stuff? Some rat in a warehouse pissing on it? I have no idea what stinking germs might be on the box. I had to sterilize my hands after touching the damn thing. Think twice before buying from this company- you might be putting your health at risk. Looks like someone at their company must have skipped work the day they taught about quality control.
