Leviton 5G108-AW5 Cat 5e 8-Wire QuickPort Adaptor Jack, White, 10-Pack

Been purchasing Leviton QuickPorts for years now. Installed hundreds to date and not a single defective one encountered. Just wish they were a bit less costly and also wish the price was the same for all colors. Some colors cost more than others … like the red ones that I just purchased.

Using these in my media panel to convert my phone lines over to ethernet (cat5e cabling). They print both wiring schemes A and B on the side to make it dirt simple to wire up properly, all you have to do is make sure your network uses the same scheme throughout and youll be ok. I use Leviton wall plugs as well which makes the installation even simpler since it uses the same lead colour labeling scheme so once you pick one wiring scheme (A or B) its easy to stay consistent throughout the network. After you are done snapping in the leads using the provided tool you just cut off the excess wire and snap the black cover over it. Since this is just a snap-in quick connector dont expect it to be strong enough to be used in an environment where the cable is moving around a lot since there is no retention built in.

Easy to punch down

Used these connectors for years as a professional network installer. When it was time to add some new drops to my house, I was happy to find these on Amazon. Same quality as before. Ive instead hundreds, if not thousands, of RJ45 ports over the years. Cheap ones do work, but Ive seen wires come loose over time. Havent had an issue with Leviton except for the time I was a little too aggressive with the punchdown tool.

Bought this to add a network port for TV use. Fit perfectly and solidly into a Leviton Quickport plate, and snugly accepted a CAT5e cable plug. Good quality and performance.

Work great. Love the mini punch tool that comes with them. They are very snug in the keystone holes and a bit difficult to get them in. But once they are in they work great.

Theyve been a rock solid performer, in my own personal home, for over 10 years now...I finally ran out, and with the experience Ive had using them, it was literally a no brainer on what product I was going to use.

dont like separating pairs but lans always run 100 meg, full duplex and no collisions.
