I used this Lexivon miter saw protractor to install some cabinets/crown for a friend. It is a professional grade protractor for sure! It doesnt tell you the angle, it tells you where to set your saw. Much less mental math and way easier than just an angle finder. Other than losing it or having it stolen, I see know reason why this wont last forever.

Great product, actually proved my miter saw was not holding zero!

I bought this for doing the baseboards in my home. Most of my angles were standard, but I had 9 odd angles that were quite obtuse. I didn’t want to mess with a digital tool, didn’t want a cheap feeling plastic tool, and this solid Aluminium tool fit the bill perfectly. It’s very accurate, makes miter adjustments easy, and helped me to breeze through the remaining cuts I had with confidence.

I like that doing miter cuts it made the process very easy to do by knowing the angels I had to cut.

I bought the Lexivon version of this tool over the Starrett version because I read a lot of reviews that said the Starrett version was off by a single degree. Thats a big deal to be off by a full degree when were talking about this kind of tool (which only measures angles, and thats it). I love the fact that this tool rotates a full 360 degrees which allows me to use it rather interesting ways. I have measured so many things with this tool and it has allowed me to plan projects to much greater detail before I start and build things to much higher tolerances when I start. It also allows me to double-check the finished product. I have measured angle pipe fittings, corners, slants, and bevels with confidence knowing that I can plug values into trigonometric functions for verification/validation on schematics and blue-prints. Absolutely love this tool.

A quality product. When you are installing molding you can not eye ball the angles. You need a tool like this to measure the angle to be sure you get a tight joint. I like that you can also use this to measure an angle and use it to copy the angle to your miter saw. I am not a big fan of plastic gauges. Many looked like they were made out of metal but when reading the description they turned out to be made out of gray engineered plastic. Engineered plastics have superior performance in the areas of heat resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, fire retardancy and mechanical strength than tools made from commodity plastics. I prefer metal tools. This tool also came with good set of instructions, which I taught me a few things. The manufacturer gives a limited lifetime warranty if you register the product within 90 days of purchase. This product is made in China,
