> 3 dayFantastic, bright, large-screen 1440p monitor with high refresh rate. The stand is a little ugly in my opinion but its great quality, provides rotation and height adjustment, and is stable/sturdy. And if you hate it, you can get a new one as the monitor is VESA compatible. This is my first big-screen, high refresh rate monitor and it was a great price for an awesome piece of equipment.

> 3 dayThis is from the perspective of a PC/Xbox player: Great monitor so far! Came in today, messed around with some settings and it looks and runs fantastic! Definitely recommend if youre planning on switching between PC and console gaming. Looks awesome on PC and Xbox as well. 10/10

> 3 dayAfter going through 3 monitors which had lots of dead pixels this one developed sudden image retention burnin after 6 months of ownership. Do not but. Not worth the headache.

> 3 dayI wanted a high-resolution monitor for general usage. The monitor is advertised for gaming, so maybe thats all it should be used for. Pictures and video seem to be fine, but it lacks detail and is fuzzy when looking at some text, even when set to the highest resolution. It also has a slight shadow effect in the brightness that extends about an inch and a quarter inward from the left and right sides of the screen. I wanted to use it for cad drawings that require a lot of detail which this monitor doesnt provide, so I will be returning it.

> 3 daythe picture is amazing. this is my first IPS monitor and i bought it not even having a nvidia card. the ghosting i was getting on my asus tuf 32 is almost non existent on this one using out of the box settings. i havent even touched the settings. the inputs on the back make it hard to wall mount so i had to get an angled DP adapter. ive only been using it for about an hour now but it seems like the sides are pushed back. i dont know if this is a possible return issue or if its simply coming from someone who has been using curved monitors for a long time.

> 3 dayThe professional reviews of this monitor miss one important thing: no option to disable DisplayPort deep sleep. This causes windows for applications to move to other monitors when this monitor goes to sleep in a dual monitor setup. Im not even sure that is my particular issue, as it still happens on HDMI and no other Displayport connections (nvidia gtx 1080 + win10). This is apparently a known issue for LG monitors for years now. LG hasnt done squat about adding in this very simple option. Until then, I cannot recommend this or any LG monitor to anyone. If they fixed this one thing, Id be raving about this monitor left and right.

> 3 dayI honestly didn’t know how bad I had it. When I put this monitor up against my run of mill budget gaming monitor, I was blown away by how great the picture is. And frankly annoyed at realizing how bad I had it. There is no ghosting that my eyes can see. Color is vibrant and accurate. Contrast is good for an IPS. There is a tiny bit of IPS glow when viewing in the dark compared to my VA monitor, but I can’t expect anyone to break the laws of physics. Worth every penny. I honestly want to buy another one. Have a dual monitor setup now with my old monitor playing second fiddle, and I have a hard time even looking at the other one now.
