LG ADQ73373201 Genuine OEM Lint Filter Assembly (Gray) for LG Gas or Electric Dryers

I have a 29 inch LG dryer and this was a perfect replacement. In fact, it fits better than the one that came with the dryer.

Ive been having an issue with my LG dryer for the past year. On settings higher than low, my dryer would shut down due to a blockage/overheating (according to the display code). I had all of the ducts cleaned in my house (including the dryer vent) and it didnt improve. It would take hours for loads to dry on low (more than normal). I finally called an appliance repairman and he said it looked like it might be the filter. I look clear to me, but microscopic particles (usually from dryer sheets) can get caught in the filter and prevent air flow. We tried to dryer without the filter - no issues. I ordered this filter from Amazon because it was a lot cheaper (and faster delivery) than ordering it from the appliance repair shop. My dryer now works perfectly! Who knew that it could be such a simple solution?!

I’m here, just like everyone else; for a replacement. Our LG dryer is not even a couple years old & I’ve had the same issues, with our lint trap cracking everywhere & falling a part; I guess I should had ordered a back up; for when this one falls a part. This is sad; my other dryer, a Samsung never had issues w/ the lint trap falling a part; I do not see myself buying anymore LG products in the near future. This works as a replacement; but how many will I have to buy for the duration of owning this dryer; another thing that sucks; is there was no option to buy a drying rack for shoes for this dryer.

Have been using it for several months and the fit is perfect but lint is sticking to the screen more than it had before (don’t know why as we haven’t changed detergents or dryer sheets.)

Our dryer is 5 years old and the old one was showing its wear. I did a quick search and ordered this immediately. It’s a genuine LG part, and works great!

Although it was not the least expensive model, based on other reviewers comments, I am glad I went with this one - it is identical to the one that came with the machine originally: just as sturdy and a perfect fit.

Same weak spot as the original, should last a few good years.
