> 3 dayNot a bad monitor, and I do enjoy using it for various purposes. For the first time, I find myself needing to turn the brightness down at night, but during the day it is decent. My biggest issue is the light bleed. It is side-lit, so black screens and dark areas of games look pretty bad - almost like a flashlight beam is coming in from each side of the monitor. Not a deal-breaker, and I would put pics if I wasnt too lazy, but it is definitely noticeable. Another big issue is the random but semi-frequent vertical lines that appear from time to time. I assume the pixels just don’t initialize correctly, but there are times when I turn on the monitor and the screen is just full of random vertical lines and mess rendering it unusable. The fix for me has been turning off the monitor for a while and trying again to prevent the lines burning in. Something I would seriously consider when buying this monitor.

Greater than one weekI bought this monitor to replace a dying monitor, though it ended up as a significant upgrade over the old one. 144Hz refresh rate makes the mouse pointer much easier to find, and Im not limited to 60fps for games. The multiple inputs makes it possible to connect additional devices (I have a Nintendo Switch connected to it in addition to my PC). This is the third LG screen Ive bought and I have no reason to give up on them. My only gripe is a minor one: the placement of the button/nub/whatever you want to call it could be easier to spot. Its on the underside of the bezel below the LG logo. Otherwise, I recommend this screen and I may get a second one in the future to replace another old monitor in my triple-screen PC setup.

> 3 dayUpdate: I discovered the annoying tone is controllable and can be turned off. The monitor has a speaker that frequently sends out an annoying audible tone to signal something, but not sure what, and no way to turn off the sound. In fact, there are no sound controls at all.

> 3 dayI would buy another monitor. Just tonight mine failed. After 9 months of use, booted my PC and it had a ton of red vertical lines on it, and it was unresponsive. Got it to work after a bit but there was so much artifacting and vertical lines that I chose to try and RMA it. Support site is buggy and took awhile to submit. Still waiting on a response but these reviews really don’t tell a great story. Monitor is a sweet deal if you know, it didn’t break in under a year (that’s just so unacceptable)

> 3 dayThe stand that it came with is trashhhhh. The stand is only tilt adjustable with no height adjustability. I had to buy a seperate monitor stand for it. Buy this if you arn’t planning on using the stand for it

> 3 dayGreat for gaming if all you want is a high refresh rate monitor with 1440p resolution, but everything else the monitor falls a bit short. Color accuracy, saturation, dynamic range, etc. are all just meh. If you have 2 monitors, itll be a struggle matching them. If its a single monitor, youll have no problem adjusting to the slightly washed out look.

Greater than one weekThis is my second g-sync capable monitor and Ive got to say that this one is my favorite. The physical build of the monitor is nice, buttons where I want them and slim bezel on the side and top. Im using it with a 3060ti and the picture looks great. Im sure there is better out there but for the price to performance I am ecstatic with this purchase.
