LINEAR Garage Door Openers HAE00040 Control Board LSO, LDO

My garage door opens by itself sometimes. I did some research and initial tests to conclude that the board might be bad. So I got this one here based on the current model installed . Installation and setting up the remotes and wall pads turned out to be easy. However, I spent sometimes to adjust the force etc to make the door up and down properly. The best part, I dont have to pay a garage tech for X multiple to fix the problem because I can do it! At the end, I am proud of myself for making such a move.

This was one of the easiest DIYs Ive ever done. When I realized this was my problem (shorted out by power surge) I ordered one of these. It shipped so quickly! I took the old one off my garage door with a screwdriver, snapped it out, snapped this one in, tightened it down and the garage worked perfectly! Amazing buy!

Shouldve done this earlier. Fixed my problem of having a short range for the remote. Overall, it took 30 minutes. Board didnt exactly fit perfectly, but right now Im just excited that it works! Had to adjust the opening and closing force. Other than that, fairly straightforward easy replacement. Hopefully this one will last me another 5-7 years.

I do not know much about these things, but it worked for what we needed it for.

My LDO50 garage door opener had power, but nothing would happen when I would press buttons on the remotes nor the wall control. Even the light would not turn on. I purchased this control board, swapped it out in five minutes, and was back up and running again. Hint: If you have two garage door openers, swap the control boards to verify the problem. That is what I did prior to ordering.
