Lixit Chinchilla Dust (27oz)

Its a tiny bottle, used it all in 1 go, didnt realize how small it was

I just received 3 containers of what is advertised as Blue Cloud Dust. It is not Blue Cloud. As can be seen in the accompanying photo, the product being delivered is something called Blue Beauty Dust. I dont know how Amazon expects to get away with obvious and undeniable fraud. --------------------------------------------------------------- A review for actual blue cloud dust is below. The chinchillas love to roll in this dust. But then they love to roll in any kind of dust. This dust seems better to me than some other bulk dust I tried. The chinchillas look cleaner. The other dust seemed to leave a coating on them that this one doesnt. I was concerned that the coating was getting in their eyes, nose and mouth, so I buy this now.

After we have started using this dust bath for our chinchilla for a while, he has started wheezing. I researched and found out that this is the problem. I believe all of the chinchilla dust bath causes this respiratory issue. Please research by yourself before you purchase this or any other dust bath product. Symptoms may not appear immediately like in our case, so please be careful. I will never buy dust bath again and have started using sand bath.

My granddaughter has a Chinchilla and this is perfect for her!

my chincillas love it. they dont like the product that petco has they dont have the big jars of blue cloud thank you. you made my boys happy and theirs nothing like happy chinchillas. thank you.

Amazon gave me a great deal on this chinchilla dust. It works great. Our little guy is always soft and clean after his dust baths.

Our little gerbil likes her dust baths and it is a hoot to watch. However, you do NOT need to use the amount of powder the container suggests. We use less than half and it can be reused as long as it is not soiled with pee and poop.

MY CHINCHILLA LOVED IT

For what I paid, I thought I was getting the jar with the chin on it, not the gerbil. Will NOT be buying this product ever again.
