> 3 dayI am working on a project over time, and got this for... thread locking... it works, but the top dries out much faster than a glue-stick... not an issue if you expect it. I like that it isnt as runny as a bottle of the blue... but I dont think it will last nearly as long. 4 days after (and, yes, the cap was on) there was a chunk of skin on the top of the stick from the limited air exposure... but the ease of use (no drips!) makes it worth it, I think. If you are doing a lot of screws at once, or if you hate drips as much as I do, its probably for you.

> 3 dayGREAT STUFF, BEEN USING LOCTITE BLUE FOR YEARS BUT THE BOTTLE STUFF IS HARDER TO APPLY , PUT TO0 MUCH ON ETC, THIS STICK IS MORE LIKE A GEL AND JUST PLAIN WORKS BETTER.

> 3 dayLoctite works Great! You just smear some on the screws before you put them in, and after you tighten the nuts, they totally stay in place! I used it on a keyboard drawer. Put together correctly without Loctite, the keyboard drawer got loose almost immediately. With loctite, its been steady, and Ive been using it for many months with no problem. This product is one that does exactly what it says itll do.

> 3 dayGood for keeping screws in and nuts on bolts. Put it on the threads of the screw and wait the full 24 hours to be sure its set. This stick version is really nice, lets you just roll a screw on the top instead of dealing with a liquid. Been using their stuff for many years. Make sure you get the right strength for the size of your screws. - Low strength - purple/loctite 222 (liquid) is for up to 1/4 screws Med strength - blue/loctite 243 (liquid) & 248 (stick) is for 1/4 to 3/4 screws High strength - red/loctite 263 (liquid) is for up to 1 screws Purple you can take the screw back out with just a hand tool. Blue you may need some sort of leverage. Red youll want to heat up a little bit before trying to remove the screw. Stay within the manufacturers suggested strength for your screw size to avoid risking stripping/damage. Ive stripped a few screws in the past thinking that it would be fine, but the screws were softer than I expected. Not worth the risk/headache.
