I used this product for installing my front end meprolight sight of Glock 19 gen4 and it worked really great!!! The sight is well fixed even after shooting 500rds.

Good product. Read the applications and usage instructions. It does exactly what it claims to do. If you are using it on a BB30 bottom bracket, be aware that you CAN still remove the bearings later with a sharp rap from a steel hammer.

I have used Loctite for years and mostly very successfully even with heavy industrial use. This sleeve retainer didnt work so well for me on a fairly simple fan to motor shaft sleeve. It wouldnt cure either by warming up both parts and/or attempting to let it setup for more than 24-hours. I was a bit disappointed with this product, I dont know it the clearance was too great for this particular job.

Works well for my use, but wasnt perfect. I have a metal item with an attachment connected by a shallow but wide screw, and I wanted to make sure this never came unscrewed because there is never a reason to remove it. After letting it set a couple days, it was hard to turn but I was able to get some movement. Since it makes it much more difficult to unscrew, its still a lot better than before. I was just hoping it would be a bit more permanent.

I bought this after reading forum posts about staked vs glued ejectors on 1911s. Apparently this is what the pros use to “glue” ejectors. I had a glued ejector from the factory that came loose after 14 years and didn’t feel like having my ejector staked as it would have made me send my frame back for machine work. This worked perfect to glue my ejector and has held solid for a long time.

I use 640 when replacing bushings in GM transfer cases, transaxle, and transmissions to insure no “walking” down the road. A little bit goes a long long way.
