Where do I start with this keyboard. First of all, the pricing. At my time of purchase, it is priced at the MSRP $129.99. This is not exactly a new keyboard, its more of a collector/reskinned keyboard for league of legends fans. Sure the built quality is superb, its heavy, feels solid. But its essentially still the same old keyboard from 3, 4 years ago. Come on Logitech, if youre charging this much for this keyboard, you at least should switch from the micro usb to USB C. Moving onto the switches and keycaps. The keycaps have a nice matte finish. Its grippier than the regular PBT keycaps you see on most keyboards. It gives a nice premium feel. The switches on the other hand are average at best. They felt quite heavy. If youre gaming to typing for long sessions, your fingers will get fatigued quicker. This also means that if youre playing games that often requires spamming your keys (i.e. League of Legends spamming spells), there will be some disadvantages. Maybe Im just not used to the brown switches. Also, the switches out of the box pings like crazy. To be fair this goes to most of the boards on the market, but its going to be hard to disassemble the board in order to custom lube the switches. As for customizability. These does not have standard bottom rows! If you want to use other keycaps, you will have to find keycaps that works with this layout. Despite the great built quality and premium feeling, I just cant see myself keeping this keyboard.

I bought two for $59 each because of the large price drop, thinking Logitech was a safe brand bet. Basically, I gambled and lost. I put one on my home PC and the other on my office workstation. Within a week the one in the office started doubling keystrokes, first with the o key then occasionally with others. I could mash the key several times and it would stop for a while then resume happening. I had to be careful not to lock out various accounts by typing my passwords very slowly to watch for more than one stroke per key, and proofread everything I typed. The one at home started doubling keys a few days later. Unfortunately I threw away the boxes after a few days, wish Id kept them because both of these would be getting returned. The Logitech G Hub software is almost pure crap. The LED animation tool works ok but thats about it, though I never was successful saving an animation to the device as default so it works before the Windows driver loads but thats more a sign of overall poor design than a specific complaint. The macro capability is lacking, with a minimum 50ms between keystrokes it got old real fast watching the macro type for me. The mouseclick macro event doesnt include position, so I have to move the mouse myself to what I want it to click on and so I might as well click the mouse button myself instead of including it in a macro. The macro OS integration to open an app or window simply did not work at all. The profile export/backup uses the cloud and has NEVER successfully connected for me even once, I spent some time creating a nice frame LED animation on one system and cant save or export it to import into the other system to have the same lightshow on both keyboards. I started surfing forums to find solutions but it was immediately obvious that lots of people complain of the same issues with little or no engagement by Logitech. Sad really. Waste of money on my part, Im out about $120 for the pair but thats the nature of gambling without researching first. I just ordered one different mechanical TKL for $110 with better user feedback and will see if that gamble pays off, but for now logitech and their mechanical switches are on my blacklist.

The keyboard itself is great. Ghub personalization is easy and capable of doing some really cool things, if you spend the time with it. My favorite keyboard of all time was the 6gV2, but those are discontinued, and this keyboard really reminds me a lot of it, in terms of function and feel. Why 3 stars? If you want this keyboard to do anything other than spew rainbow unicorn vomit waves across the RGBs you will have to use GHub. GHub auto updates have defaulted my profiles on my mouse and keyboard SO many times its not funny. I dont customize my stuff anymore, because I have done it 10x already, and then GHub updates and ruins everything. You can turn off auto updates to solve this problem, I, however, still cannot bring myself to change stuff back again. Sucks, because everything else about it is 10/10

I have the other version of this keyboard with the GX Clicky Blue switches and what feels like non-rubberized keycaps. The keycaps on this this gx brown feels significantly rubberized. I do not really like the GX Brown Tactile keys for one reason only. It has the exact same issue as the mx cherry browns and romer-g browns or any other brown switch, they have barely any tactile feel to them, which practically makes them linear switches in real world usage. If I wanted a linear switch, I would have bought one. Overall, the gx browns are smoother than the gx blues, almost feel like they could be lubed, so the browns are pretty smooth, that part feels nice. If it had actual tactile feedback, this would be a winner. The gx blue switches have the best typing feedback of course, but they are very loud and the gx blue switches also feel not as refined as they could be, it feels somewhat scratchy and loose, I can even feel the parts move inside of the switch when Im pressing them slowly. Im very divided honestly and its frustrating. I want the solid tactile feedback of the gx blues in the gx browns, but the only thing really wrong with them is that they have almost no tactile bump, which is the only reason why I bought them, because I wanted that solid tactile feedback. Thats all I want. When youre gaming or typing very fast, you barely notice any bump at all. It just doesnt make any sense why they would make the gx brown switch like a linear. The whole point for each type of switch is to be significantly different from the other for different purposes. Its almost like theyre afraid to offend people with too much pronounced tactile bump or something. Its literally the most minimal tactile bump you can possibly design on a switch without it being straight up linear. I didnt buy a linear switch, I bought a tactile, so give me an actual tactile switch. This keyboard could be the right fit if youre looking for something thats affordable on sale and good design overall. The switches will probably not really satisfy you though. To be fair, all mainstream keyboards with pretty much any type of brown switch, they all have the same issue, barely any tactile feedback, which makes them practically a linear. So if you enjoy clicky loud blue keys or if you enjoy the smooth barely any tactile brown switches, this could be the keyboard for you on a budget. I wouldnt recommend them at full price at all, but for the on sale price of $60, yes sir, Ill take one. Personally, I only bought this thing because it was cheap and I would have to pay a lot more money for the type of switch I actually want, so here we are. A good product, I only just have issues with the switches. I personally prefer the gx blue clicky switches. Semi recommended as long as you know what youre getting.

The keyboards are very satisfying to use, plus they sound great. The keyboard size is comparable and will fit nicely even in a small desk setup. There are many customizations for the RGB with Logitechs software and you can even integrate with the Opera GX browser, which is fun.

I like Logitech products and I liked this one, but it was really not for me. It was for my wife. Her old keyboard was losing symbol recognition. She also has a need to occasionally use it in a rather dark space; so, I thought a lighted keyboard would be great. Well, it is a good keyboard, but the lighting is multicolored, and it changes in waves across the board as you use it. For my wife that was a Board Breaker LOL. I guess it is more in line with the gaming mind set. Underneath the Las Vegas lighting it really is a good board.

i have had this keyboard for about 4 months now and the E button now double clicks and doesnt register the input half the time. Wouldnt be a problem if they werent solder and i could just swap them out. Logitechs support team is also the biggest dumpster fire of help and is more confusing than it needs to be.

Product is well designed, compact form and seems durable. However, sometimes I feel like the buttons are unpredictably unresponsive depending on how light you press on them.

I like it it works doing just fine. I just wish the symbols under the numbers would light up better cant see them
