> 3 dayThe first one lasted for 15 minutes before smoking and giving off a horrible smell, the second one lasted a little over 2 days before doing the same thing.

> 3 dayI have a house cat. She wants to stay outside. I have some chrome shelving in my outdoor shed and I set up those braided small rugs to wall in part ofthe 2 nd shelf and placed the heat emitter on the shelf above her. These shelves are adjustable by inch increments. Then I set bricks around the bulb holder (using a heavy duty ceramic domed bulb holder like for little chicks) and the bricks hold it in place and are sturdy. Maybe it also provides some heat retention also. She must like it. She wants to stay outside still. I also have a brooder lamp in the area as backup on the colder nights and just incase one of the heat setups fails. Im happier with these heat emitters than using a 150 watt brooder set up and they dont use that much electricity.

> 3 dayFirst bulb only lasted 1 week. I thought it was a fluke. The second one almost lasted 1month before dying.

19-11-2024I like these way more then the red heat lamps. They give off a lot of heat without the light which can mess up chicks sleep/wake cycles. They do smell a little when first used, but not bad. They keep the bedding at 100*+ at about 2 high in a normal heart lamp fixture for the 150 watt version. We will see how long they last

> 3 dayI guess its not that great or noticeable to my pet...I have to push my pet literally right under the bulb... pretty close to the bulb for it to notice it it feel it. But I have to do that EVERY TIME. Guess it isnt that great that it doesnt want to remember it.
