My granddaughter loves this

A solid pair if sketch books at a good price. I like the hardcovers, so far I like the paper...no complaints.

The paper is very thin and not a bright white, almost to the point of low-grade paper stock, tears very easily. Not a fan and would not purchase again.

These are nice, sturdy sketchbooks with tear out pages, but it is worth noting that the paper has a bit of tooth to it, fountain pens tend to scratch and drag a bit compared to a smoother paper. It would be nice with graphite.

It’s what I was expecting it to be for my girl’s drawings

I purchased this for my daughter who is learning to draw. She likes the hardcover and the paper quality is what she needs exactly, just the right balance between the tooth and smoothness, with nice weight for multiple pencil effects. The hardcover/back give a great support when drawing.The pages are perforated so they can be removed tidily and the paper feels very nice and workable with good erasure, when necessary. The 2-pack is an especially good bargain and the slightly heavier weight of the paper over similar products means it performs better. This works perfectly for her needs and I would purchase this again. Im very happy with it.
