This MageGee keyboard when I first bought it was fantastic. The red switches feel very nice and light to the touch and are a dream to type on. I replaced the stock key caps with some more dished ball shaped ones and that made it feel even better. I bought this keyboard in 2021 and happily used it up until here in May of 2023. As great as this keyboard is, its not lasting very well. The LED in my Pause key started to flicker and eventually went out about a year to a year and a half of ownership. The apostrophe key unfortunately was the show stopper for me. It stopped working properly and has steadily declined to the point where it doesnt register key presses well anymore. They got so much right with this keyboard, but the quality of the key switches is where its main pitfall is. This is a situation that you might run into with clone Cherry MX switches. Sometimes the quality isnt the greatest, sometimes its completely fine. In this case, it took the better part of 2 years to wear out which I dont consider to be that great when Ive had low quality rubber dome keyboards last 15+ years. If MageGee used higher quality cherry red equivalent key switches, this keyboard would be an amazing product.

I really like this keyboard. I use it for everyday use and I love how the keys feel. I think my enter button by the number keys is a bit tough but other than that I’m glad I finally got this. I even got a set of white and blue keys in case I wanted to change the look.

I grew up with the classic IBM and later on, Chicony keyboards. However, as time went on, I migrated to the common membrane keyboard of today. I was looking for something new, just because Id worn down the letters on my Logitech K120. I decided I wanted something with a backlight, because I tend to write and game in the nighttime. Most inexpensive lit keyboards today have a multi-color rainbow light set, that just doesnt appeal to me. I found this, read the reviews, and figured I would give it a chance. 100% best decision Ive made in a while. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the tactile and auditory feedback have got me excited about typing again. Whats more, because I can FEEL the keypresses, I believe I have improved my typing. Over the last few years, I have had the experience of transposing letters while typing, because my right hand is naturally stronger than my left, and my left handed keystrokes lagged. This is greatly improved because I can feel the key depress on the left before I hit the key under my right hand. I cant believe this actually helped! Overall, Im very impressed with the build quality, it is probably five or six times as heavy as my old keyboard, it doesnt slide around the table, and it just feels solid. The riser feet in the back even feel strong and Im not afraid to open and close them as much as I like. These are usually cheap press-fit plastic and I have broken the feet off many keyboards in my day. The cable is actually in a cloth braid, very shi shi. The light pattern feature is nice, but I really only want the basic backlight, and dimming, which this does no problem. I wish the logo did not continually blink. Its annoying, and I may tape over it because it doesnt seem to have a toggle. I purchased this at $36 and I think it is a very very good deal at that price. I feel like my computer is a computer again. Very few upgrades will improve your system as much and as cheaply as this keyboard.

This is a fantastic keyboard! Fair warning, like some reviews said, it did die out within 2 months of getting it, but I reached out to the seller with my issues and they sent another one thats working great now! Customer service a solid 10/10, I love this keyboard; matches my aesthetic so much! Heres to hoping this one lasts much longer.

Love the sound and everything sounds great. Except the white keys- some of them came with a little black mark that won’t come off :( it’s kind of ugly looking. I tried cleaning them off but it won’t come off. That’s the only problem.

Im obsessed!!!!! I literally always wanted a mechanical keyboard and this did not disappoint me. I dont use it for gaming but office typing work. It fully adjusted to my office computer system with no issues. I love that the light up setting flows through the keyboard as you type, like water. The original key caps light shines the through. Check out the Obsessed videos. The caps are super easy to switch, comes with the tool that makes it smoother. Keyboard is wired so no worries about getting a cord. I would definitely get another one to build just for fun.

I bought this for work to help with productivity, and it was an incredible buy for the price! However, over time I think the keys are too “clacky” and loud. I’m going to end up buying quieter keys in the future, but it does the job and does it well!

Overall, this being my first mechanical keyboard with blue switches, I really do like it. The sound is satisfying and the keyboard is really pretty. Love it to death, would recommend.

I love the look of this keyboard and for the two hours it worked I have no issues with it, but then after some playing around with settings and plugging it into different ports, I figured out that this keyboard does not like to be connected to a docking USB hub. I am currently working from home and so I use a laptop for work but my desktop for my small business and personal use and gaming. The USB hub makes it easier for me to just plug and go between the laptop and desktop. Other than that inconvenience I do love the aesthetic and the keystroke input. While some may say that this keyboard is louder than some mechanical/gaming keyboards it reminds me of a typewriter and makes me more productive. For me, I dont see much change in the speed of the scrolling led only a big difference in the scrolling direction or just shutting it off. Overall this is a great keyboard for the value!
