First of all, I was super happy to see that it came with the pink keys as well as the blue ones that were already installed, so you get two colors! It is also the perfect size and the sound it makes is *chefs kiss*. it sounds like a very nice mechanical keyboard. I also love the icons on some of the keys that make it more unique versus a traditional keyboard. The backlight options are very cool, i just wish there was an option to turn it off completely (I use the gamer option because those are the keys i use and they dont flash). The cord is also long enough for me to have it plugged into my laptop on a side table and have the keyboard on my lap table. The keys are also easy to remove and replace which is great. All in all, a great purchase.

Overall this keyboard is great. Very clicky as per the blue switches. Both sets of keycaps look awesome and I dont notice any flaws. The biggest issue with it is that the instruction book does not properly explain how to change the lighting (the pattern not the color) on the keyboard and when I was going through the answered questions here they never fully answer the question either. There is a video further down in the reviews that show how to do it too. Super helpful but it shouldnt take a reviewer to tell us how to do this. To go through the different options you need to press the FN button and then the labeled A1 A2 A3 etc buttons. Just click them multiple times and you can see the different options. Also this is just a pet peeve of mine, but the keycaps that come on the keyboard originally, a lot of the buttons like the F buttons at the top and the arrow keys have little graphics on them, which I like. However the second set of keycaps do not have these same graphics. So if you only replace one arrow key it kind of looks weird. But thats literally just a pet peeve, and if you are mindful of this and switch out the right keys its not weird at all. Overall I love this keyboard.

This keyboard is quite the upgrade from my regular keyboards. My first mechanical keyboard to be honest, am not sure if theres better out there, or what the difference would be, but this little guy transforms my desk and typing experience. Love the sound coming from it, love the lighs and how then animate. I tried adjusting the brightness of the lights and didnt seem to work, but apart from that its a nice product.

Its super pretty. I love how the keys float above the board. The fact that it comes with an alternating keycap set is a nice plus. Super fun customizing it and the splash light effect is my favorite. My keyboard before this one was a membrane keyboard with smushier and quieter keys, so I was worried I wouldnt like a louder type. But nah, once I pressed the keys I was like OOOOOOOOOh. It makes the cutest noise and feels great. Ive had the keyboard for a while now and I still dont get tired pressing buttons on it.

This is a neat keyboard. The LEDs under the keys can be triggered to light up in a number of ways..always, on key press, or a sort of animation. It really is fun. Quality seems good enough. It think its fine but keyboards are a consumable for kids. Keys are cherry-round (ie a circle with a square cross) if you wish to change out any of the keyboards.

Love clicky keyboards! I use a 36 year old IBM Model M keyboard on my main computer. I wanted a clicky keyboard for my shop computer so I gave this MaGegee a try. I like the feel of the keys. The keyboard weight is good, not heavy like the Model M, but heavy enough to stay put on the desk. Ive been using the keyboard since April of 22 and for the most part its been very good. However, just under a year old, several back light LEDs have stopped working. I seem to lose one a month now.

This is the answer to nightime computer viewing…the sturdiest keyboard with great blue illumination.

I grew up with the classic IBM and later on, Chicony keyboards. However, as time went on, I migrated to the common membrane keyboard of today. I was looking for something new, just because Id worn down the letters on my Logitech K120. I decided I wanted something with a backlight, because I tend to write and game in the nighttime. Most inexpensive lit keyboards today have a multi-color rainbow light set, that just doesnt appeal to me. I found this, read the reviews, and figured I would give it a chance. 100% best decision Ive made in a while. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the tactile and auditory feedback have got me excited about typing again. Whats more, because I can FEEL the keypresses, I believe I have improved my typing. Over the last few years, I have had the experience of transposing letters while typing, because my right hand is naturally stronger than my left, and my left handed keystrokes lagged. This is greatly improved because I can feel the key depress on the left before I hit the key under my right hand. I cant believe this actually helped! Overall, Im very impressed with the build quality, it is probably five or six times as heavy as my old keyboard, it doesnt slide around the table, and it just feels solid. The riser feet in the back even feel strong and Im not afraid to open and close them as much as I like. These are usually cheap press-fit plastic and I have broken the feet off many keyboards in my day. The cable is actually in a cloth braid, very shi shi. The light pattern feature is nice, but I really only want the basic backlight, and dimming, which this does no problem. I wish the logo did not continually blink. Its annoying, and I may tape over it because it doesnt seem to have a toggle. I purchased this at $36 and I think it is a very very good deal at that price. I feel like my computer is a computer again. Very few upgrades will improve your system as much and as cheaply as this keyboard.

I havent owned a mechanical keyboard since I was a kid back on my dads old computer, and since then Ive been wanting one again just to hear that satisfying clicking. I can say with confidence that this keyboard looks and sounds amazing and I havent figured any of the light changes/patterns mostly because I like the default wave pattern, but Ill be sure to edit this if I do since it seems a little difficult to find and adjust. Overall, I love the color pink and when paired with white it looks great! You can change out the keys to the blue and white version I may use one day, and it has a decent weight to it too that I like. Get it!

Ive had this keyboard 3 months now. It reminds me very strongly of old mechanical IBM keyboards from back in the day, except its thankfully not beige. PROs - Very traditional office mechanical keyboard feel. - Seems very solid. Does not look or feel cheap. - The lights do actually illuminate the keys, unlike some keyboards. CONS - No instruction manual. I had to look at Amazon Reviews to understand how to control the lights. - Only white light. I dont care but you might. - You have to have the lights on. You cannot read the keys with the lights off. Overall, Ive been using this every day and have had zero problems with it, other than figuring out how to control the lights.
