Expensive yes. Worth it? For sure.

Like most tinkerers of age, over the years Ive owned many 3rd Hands - Helping Hands for soldering, painting, etc. I have never owned one as nice, well built, well engineered, or as customizable as this one. Everything attaches to the base with VERY strong magnets that can be easily moved around. The light is bright and very adjustable and the magnifying glass is the perfect strength. Zero complaints - I highly recommend and would repurchase in a heartbeat. Its worth every penny!

I have used it a number of times for soldering. I found it very useful. The light could be brighter. I recommend buying a bigger magnifying glass / light for some use..

This set consists of a metal plate and several different kinds of tool helpers that stick to it magnetically, and that can be taken off and moved around. There are 4 little grippers, one larger tool holder, a vise, and a lighted magnifier. The magnets are plenty strong to hold them in place but they are easy to move too. The set has been a great help to me several times already.

Has exceeded expectations right out of the box. It’s a very good product. I know it’s alligator clips and flexible arms but it’s very functional and user friendly and looks good doing it. I’m very satisfied with product and service from this seller
