Yes wood over plastic!! My 1 year old son enjoys this thoroughly; throwing, shaking, looking at, and teething on the tangle toy.

This has been my daughters favorite toy since she was about 4 months. She can bite on it too easily which she likes. I use to be afraid she would bonk herself in the eye with it but so far that hasn’t been a problem.

This toy is good for baby. Safe and many tactile features to develop his/her motor neurone skills. Doubles as a rattle cum teething ring cum educational toy.

It’s absolutely beautiful! Wish I hadn’t waited so long to purchase. My son is 9 mons old and isn’t crazy about it but I love it and the quality is great! Perfect for a 4-6mon old. My son is on the move now and ready to walk. I feel it suits babies that are in a different developmental stage than he is currently.
