> 3 dayThis is one crazy game! Basically, the player can customise his/her own Kart to compete against other Nintendo characters. Its more difficult than you think, but its enjoyable too. I tend to prefer using the Wii U Gamepad to control the action as its more ergonomically designed to sit in ones hand. We also purchased a couple of Wii Wheels into which a controller can be placed and used to control the driving. Either works well. My son, whos nine, enjoys this game. Recommended, although if youre prone to seizures/epileptic then Id give it a miss.

> 3 dayIve loved Mario Kart since the N64 days and played every iteration since then. This game is beautiful, inventive, familiar and fun. Playing with headphones made me really appreciate the incredible in-race music. I got this to enjoy with my wee boy who is 3. He struggles to play it himself but is really taken with the fun and track environments. This is a real thing of beauty and I love it.

> 3 dayFantastic game. Cannot recommend enough! My boys (6 & 8) have loved playing this, and so have I. Its really easy to get through the menus, the race maps are really great fun and my 6 year old loves the reward of a new character or upgrade to the vehicles when he wins a cup. Have had this for a few months now and they play this most weekends and have not got bored yet.

> 3 dayIve loved all the MK games to date and this one adds to the franchise. The usual frantic action of MK is there and now the added zero gravity sections add a little more to the game. Tracks are gorgeous, music is incredible, visually stunning to look at and a whole lot of fun to play.

> 3 dayMario Kart 8 has finally come out, and it really does show even if a series is more than 20 years old, it never gets boring. I love the fact you can customise your vehicle and that it changes the characteristic of everything. 5/5.
