> 24 hourThis little speaker has some big sound. PROS: Sound Quality, bass&treble adjustment knobs, built in subwoofer, sleek vinatge look, auxiliary plug, Bluetooth, App works flawlessly, is LOUD as hell. Cons: None to date In summary for this price you cannot find a speaker like this. Though i cant speak on the lifespan this little guy really did blow me away.

> 24 hourThis is a truly impressive little bluetooth home speaker. It is not really portable (you can move it around easily but...), as it requires and 110vAC connection to operate. The speaker is quite dense and well made. I assume the faux leather covering is some sort of PU leather, but it is quite soft to the touch. It doesnt feel plasticy at all. There is one spot on the bottom where you can the seam where the leather meets, but its not really noticeable. The power switch is a very solid and old school feeling toggle. The volume and equalizer knobs are reminiscent of music amps and operate smoothly with modern touch of LED indicators instead increment lines and a pointer. Bluetooth pairing is simple and when you connect to the speaker, it prompts you to download the Marshall app from your respective app store. The app makes pairing easy...but seems to be a bit unnecessary, as the only real use for it is to make custom EQ profiles. Overall, I couldnt be happier with the sound quality. It has a tremendous amount of bass, but isnt muddy or rattling. The sound does fill the room, which is surprising for such a small speaker. Voices are clear, good mid tones, and the highs (at least as high as these old ears can hear) are very clean. Im not an audiophile, but I can appreciate good sound. I recently got a set of IEMs and use those as my reference for high quality sound. I have to say this speaker holds its own. Its got a classic subdued look. You can hide it in the corner of the room or display as a prominent center piece in music themed house. Either way, the sound wont disappoint.

> 24 hourThis is a good looking speaker. The build quality is pretty good. I am really loving the retro design. I personally think the black and gold colorway really makes it stand out from some other speakers that Ive had. The size is just right and fits perfectly on my desk. The sound quality is great. This speaker has a nice crystal clear sound. The treble and bass sound very clean and not muddy like some other speakers that Ive had. For its size this thing gets loud. I like that it has the EQ settings on top. It makes it easier to adjust the sound to the way that I like it. You can also adjust the sound in the app but I really dont use it. In my opinion the app is pretty basic and useless. Pairing it to my iPad was easy. It was also easy to connect it to my Alexa. So far I am enjoying this speaker. I like it so much that I ordered one for my living room. This is one speaker that I would definitely recommend.

> 24 hourStatic sound both with blue tooth and direct connect. Marshall trouble shooting suggest move closer to turntable (defies purpose for bluetooth to put speaker where I like) also suggested turning the volume down! Led Zep on low volume... not for me.

> 24 hourI really like this speaker design and sound wise. Still you definitely are buy in my for style. You can get better sounding speakers for the price and it has a couple negatives, It doesnt have a battery making it more likely to be used as a sound bar or hooked to a turntable yet the aux port is on the top rather than the back. In addition there are other Marshall speakers (some of which are discounted yet nearly identical older models) that are a far better value. Could see getting a Stanmore II which is bigger and better sounding or the nearly identical sized Kilburn than offers the convenience of battery power when you need. The moral of the story is that if you like the way Marshall speakers look there are lots of options.

> 24 hourThe quality is still good, but it feels better than the previous generation. Because acton II sounds quality better than the acton III. there is no cable in it,the price is also more expensive lol. I like the two different ways of linking. More convenient and easy to bring it with me.

> 24 hour“Awesome” has become such a clichéd description nowadays that I make it a point to avoid using it. It is so overused that it has become meaningless. However, in the case of this speaker, I am going out of my way to describe it rightfully as awesome! We are using our Acton III in tandem with a Bluetooth turntable and the results are magnificent. Marshall has always been known for its superior speakers and this one features great sound, loud and clear, with the cleanest whispers to the most resounding booms. I’ve always placed Marshall just a notch below Bose when it comes to home music and sound but this speaker, at this price point, is the one to go with – impeccable audio and a value at under $300. Easy to set up, just plug it in and pair it with your device, and you’ll receive immediate sound superiority. The split sound is so wide that you’ll have to look twice to make sure you have just one speaker playing. Perfect for soft music lovers, pop fans, opera aficionados and hard core rock’n’rollers. Brilliantly black with gold plated switch and connections, it’s a beauty to behold. With the classic Marshall look and appeal and with state of the art Marshall sound, you can’t go wrong with the Acton III. Currently priced at $279.99 (at the time of this review) and with quick and safe Prime Delivery, this is an ultimate value that I can’t praise enough.
