The material is beautiful - it’s not a cheap straight black, but more soft, slate black with a brushed look. Placement of pockets are ideal, excellent fabric, and my kid loves it! Plenty of room for everything.

Over the last 25 years I have used exactly two Swiss Gear backpacks (as my briefcase) because they are so durable and hold up so well. This bag appears well-built, plenty of room, and some nice features including the hidden pocket on the back. Only time will tell how durable this bag is, but at the moment I would say it’s a bargain for the money paid.

Very convenient has a car key holder which I really like also has a power port so you can charge right from the backpack as long as you bring a portable power pack

I love this laptop backpack. I travel a lot while using my laptop, and the Matein backpack makes it easy to carry my laptop, work notes and other things I need for my job. Its also stylish, which wasnt necessarily top on my list, but is a great plus.

I can fit so much stuff into this bag. I got it for everyday use as a graduate student and for use as a carry on for travel. It fits everything I need and more all without falling apart.

My grandson really like the backpack as it has all the pockets, etc. he needs. The only problem is that the zipper wont stay closed...he has to use a little luggage lock on it to stay closed.

My wife and I had to fly to Florida to pick colors and materials for our new house, 1st time ever it was going to be a 3 day trip. Didnt want to pay to check in bags as usual. Ordered this backpack and I wasnt disappointed at all! No laptop was taken but I seen the stock pics and seen how it could hold clothes and personal items even sandels. I actually took enough clothes for a week if I needed too. I just unpacked and put back mostly clean clothes. Also it was raining really hard and nothing was wet! For the money its a great deal...

I have never used a backpack before, only a briefcase and am so surprised how many things fit into it. This backpack is comfortable on my 6 foot 3 inch frame and even my large lunch box fits in with my laptop, ipad and chargers plus all of my other essentials. Its great!
