Caveat-my rising college freshman hasn’t actually used this at college yet. That being said, this seems very well made. It’s well padded, has lots of pockets for organization, and passed our in-home water resistance test. The zippers work well, maybe a little too well. My freshman is going to have to remember to zip everything to one side or buy a carabiner to hook the zips together so they don’t separate. UPDATE: A year & half later it’s still going strong. My kid is halfway through sophomore year—with two majors and two part-time jobs— and it barely looks used. It’s held up well to rainy/snowy treks to campus & cramped seating on public transportation.

Time will only tell how the bag holds up with school and the weight put in. Worried mostly about the zipper and seams durability.

I researched so many black travel backpacks that would count as a personal item for all airlines. This one ticked every box. I love all the pockets and the hidden pocket on the back was great! This backpack looks expensive and is so comfortable and durable! Would recommend to anyone!

Bag is well made but I would have liked the straps to be a bit longer. Im 62 and I have trouble using it as a back pack when wearing any coat. Had an issue with the bag , contacted the manufacturer and within 24 hrs they resolved it. They are a great company to work with and now very happy. Buy it, you will not regret it.

This is a very high quality laptop backpack that is sturdy, well made, and yet very light. It has lots of pockets to hold cables, mice, etc. My only complaint is that there is very little padding in the bottom in case you drop it. I was not comfortable with this for my brand new laptop. So I cut a piece of heavy foam 2x2x10 inches to put at the bottom. This really helps a lot and it is too bad the manufacturer doesnt offer this. I have a 14-inch laptop and it fits fine, but with my homemade padding, a 15-inch laptop would no longer fit.

I love this backpack for traveling but the zippers do not stay closed . I have to use large paper clips to keep them closed to avoid losing anything. I have back problems and it is very comfortable to wear, however I have had issues with the straps slipping. I may have to stitch them in one place so they do not continue to loosen as I am wearing it through the airport the next time.
