08-06-2025This bag is so comfortable on my back and it’s easy to put my suitcase handle. I bought it because it was rated in the top 10 laptop backpacks by Travel & Leisure Magazine. I have used my bag on 2 trips with no problem.

> 3 dayI wanted a small backpack to use as a personal item to take on flights. Was impressed with the quality of the fabric and zippers. Lots of different compartments (more than I needed). Fit under the seat well. Was able to get 4 days of summer wear in there to avoid taking a full-sized carry-on.

> 3 dayLove the bag. I put my laptop in the sleeve directly in front of the laptop sleeve. The actual laptop sleeves bottom has no padding and leaves the laptop a bit vulnerable. The pocket I use has a few lines of stitching between its bottom and the floor. It has so many pockets with sleeves for all your necessities. Great for being a student.

> 3 dayThis backpacks zippers slide so easily that they sometimes fall open. I am not using it because of that.

> 3 dayVery convenient has a car key holder which I really like also has a power port so you can charge right from the backpack as long as you bring a portable power pack

04-06-2025I needed a new backpack for business and personal travel; my Tumi one looks great, but the seatbelt like straps are not comfortable. This one has comfortable padded straps, is comfortable to wear, holds a lot of items in the various pockets, is waterproof, and even has a USB charging port. I have used it every day for several weeks, and am very happy with it. However, as some other reviews note, it does tend to unzip itself. I initially thought that I was forgetting to zip up the pockets, because there are quite a few of them. But at least once a day, some helpful passerby would tell me: Hey, your backpack is unzipped. I think you can solve the problem by keeping the zipper tabs at the bottom, rather than top, if you can remember. Otherwise, its great. PS: I was trying to decide between three similar Matein backbacks, so I ordered all 3. I tried the Matein Business Travel backpack ($50), it was sleek, but too small and slim to carry everything I needed. Also tried the Matein Extra Large backpack ($72), but it was too big and bulky. Finally decided on this one, the Matein Travel Laptop backback, the cheapest of the three for $30 - just right.

> 3 dayAnyone who has a high schooler who throws their book bag down anywhere from the bus, in the car, to the floor when they get home need a bag like this. This has held up almost “like new” and we just finished the semester. So happy with the quality of material and love all of the pockets.

> 3 dayI researched so many black travel backpacks that would count as a personal item for all airlines. This one ticked every box. I love all the pockets and the hidden pocket on the back was great! This backpack looks expensive and is so comfortable and durable! Would recommend to anyone!

> 3 dayThe backpack is very sturdy and light at the same time. The straps are cushioned so that even a heavy load is easy to carry. It has many compartments and a charging connector as well. It is not flashy thankfully.
