During a 4-day, top-of-car, strapped-down journey, it took less than 1 day for the flap to become unsealed and the bag so shredded that trying to reseal/re-tape it was impossible. All we could do was cut away the large, loose and flapping /shredding parts of the bag so they didnt impair our view or break loose and hit others windshields. By Day 4, our previously nearly new (6 month old high-quality and beloved) mattress was filthy and irreparably smushed from being exposed to wind for 4 days, and we ended up junking it -- $750 down the tubes. Seems thick enough to act as a light cover when moving cross town (maybe?) or to sit in storage (maybe??) , but definitely NOT recommended to protect mattress from any real distress, as it suggests.

After a single move, by professionals, the bags did not hold up. The holes and tears were minor and could possibly be patched with heavy duty tape, made for plastic, and used again for a move, but definitely not to store a mattress and/or boxspring.

Ive used several different types of mattress storage bags in the past. This one is by far the thickest. I like that it has an adhesive closure too. Great for storage or moving. The less expensive and thinner ones are just not worth it. Your mattress likely cost several hundred dollars if not more. Small investment to protect your large investment.

We are storing a queen bed in our garage in case we need it later. This was easy to put on and seal. Hoping it will keep it clean and dust free.

We needed to move two mattresses ourselves so we purchased these bags for a queen and a king. They were very substantial and thick, much to my delight. They absolutely did the trick and even survived being dragged on a driveway without tearing. No complaints at all.

Purchased one one these bags on two separate occasions. Heavy gauge plastic provides excellent protection for the mattress. I also purchased some desiccant that I packed in with the mattresses and used packing tape to really seal it up well. Would highly recommend the product to someone wanting to move or store a mattress.

We discovered UltraBlock while moving. We wanted to protect our mattresses in transit as well as in the storage unit. They arrived the day after ordering fit well and were very easy to put on. Even our professional movers were impressed with them.

The mattress cover seems to be very durable. The plastic is very heavyweight. It is pretty easy to slide onto the mattress, even with just one person, then the tape seal is solid. Because the tape is so sticky, I dont think you could easily re-use the cover but the quality of the tape is important if the mattress is going to be exposed to weather in a move. Plus, the cost is low enough that a single use is still cost effective.

Perfect fit, my mattress is 18” deep and this fit like a glove!! Would recommend and will purchase again for future storage needs.
