Mattress Bags for Moving or Storage – 6 Mil Reusable Plastic Cover, Tear and Puncture Resistant, Non-Slip Grip, Extra Thick Queen Size Bag – Moving Supplies

> 3 dayEasily fit a 14 in tall queen mattress. Very thick plastic kept the mattress protected during a move. Adhesion to close the bag on the end was very sticky, which was good for this use, but may make it hard to reuse for a future move (although we are going to try!).

> 3 dayDuring a 4-day, top-of-car, strapped-down journey, it took less than 1 day for the flap to become unsealed and the bag so shredded that trying to reseal/re-tape it was impossible. All we could do was cut away the large, loose and flapping /shredding parts of the bag so they didnt impair our view or break loose and hit others windshields. By Day 4, our previously nearly new (6 month old high-quality and beloved) mattress was filthy and irreparably smushed from being exposed to wind for 4 days, and we ended up junking it -- $750 down the tubes. Seems thick enough to act as a light cover when moving cross town (maybe?) or to sit in storage (maybe??) , but definitely NOT recommended to protect mattress from any real distress, as it suggests.

Greater than one weekLarge enough to make it easy to get mattress inside. Thick enough to handle well with mattress inside. Protected the mattress against dirt, water, etc throughout the move.

17-11-2024Thick, quality product. The self adhesive strips worked well, however, I would recommend letting the adhesive stick for 5-10 min before yanking the heavy mattress around or it will come undone. My only wish was that it was somehow designed with handles. It’s a real bear to move a heavy queen sized mattress around while holding onto slick plastic. Two men can pull it off, but they will be huffing and puffing by the time they get the mattress onto the moving truck. Hey, who said moving was enjoyable?

Greater than one weekBasically, thick plastic sheeting with sloppy sticky areas on flap. We had to tape ours. Its ok for bed wetting, but needs better seal for bed bugs, also the plastic is very slippery for sheets and bed to box/wood slats contact. I had to buy rolls of shelving liner/carpet underlay anti-slip material so my parents didnt slip off into the floor. Plastic needs grip material taped to it.

> 3 dayThe only thing is that I had to reinforce the closure with tape because the original closing leaves gaps. That’s the only thing. But after all it’s a good investment.

> 3 dayPurchased one one these bags on two separate occasions. Heavy gauge plastic provides excellent protection for the mattress. I also purchased some desiccant that I packed in with the mattresses and used packing tape to really seal it up well. Would highly recommend the product to someone wanting to move or store a mattress.
